Here's a few CSI related items that we just need to get in the mood for the new seasons of our favorite shows! I thought they were original and super fun so why not share? All items can be found on WorldWideFred.com :D

    Desk - Murder Ink

    Home - Mat

NYC and Los Angeles are in there!

    Kitchen - Evidence
    [IMG]
Want to surprise your guests? Or make sure they never come back again.

    Kitchen - Table Saw
    [IMG]

    Life - Fuzz
    [IMG]
    I'm SO buying the scarf!!!

    Life - Xposed
    [IMG]
Don't wear this tote in an airport... unless you're looking for trouble

By the way, I hope I posted this in the right board of the forum!

There's a CSI merchandise forum, but this isn't actually CSI merchandise - but it's still fun for fans of the series...

Ah heck, I'm keeping it here. GenCSI could use a little bit of fun. :D

However, the pictures you posted are pretty big, Cyn - and they seem to be hotlinked from the original website, which is against the rules. I recommend uploading the pictures to a site like ImageShack, which will let you post clickable thumbnails. :)

In order to make things a bit more relevant - it would be fun to see stuff like this appear in one of the shows. I could totally see Adam giving someone that 'Murder Ink' pad as a gift. Probably Flack. And he'd be like, 'Gee, thanks' and stick it on his desk.

Is there any other not-quite-CSI stuff you've seen that would be fun for the fans - and maybe fun to see on the show itself (because even TV CSIs would probably get a kick out of a crime scene tape scarf ;))?

That notepad is too funny.

I love the scarf. I clicked the link, but it didn't list the price. I'm curious about the price and if it's in my price-range. I have a little birthday money left.

I could see Wendy and/or Mandy as well as Valera wearing that scarf! Or Adam getting a mini version for little Lucy.

Catherine would so use the table saw to cut Nicky's next birthday cake. I could also see her buying that scarf for Linds.

Cyn, if you don't have an imageshack account, I could upload the pics to mine and send Fay the links so she could edit the thumbnail versions into the post. :)

Adam will most definitely buy a lot of stuff for his honorary niece. (And really, I don't think Danny and Lindsay have a choice about letting Adam be an 'Uncle' - you know he'd just be so sweet, and who could look at him and say no? :p) He'd be bringing over the coolest new baby stuff and little onesies with 'Drool is just DNA' or something like that on them. :p

Haha, I went looking for some sort of CSI-related baby thing and found this t-shirt instead. Fun!

I could see Lindsay wearing a shirt like that around the house - although I imagine it would get baby vomit all over it. But hey, that's what washing machines are for. :p

I think ImageVenue might be the one that every time I click a link for that site, a porn ad pops up. Of course I haven't clicked a link for that site in a while... and that might have been back when I still had Norton and Norton somehow allowed a trojan virus into my system and it deleted the virus, but left the backdoor to the virus. And I think with that virus I was getting all kinds of popups on various sites.

Fay, thanks for keeping the message on GenCSI! :D I didn't even noticed there was a CSI Merchandise board lol I'm really blind . And, yeah *ashamed* I hotlinked because I was lazy to host the images (and was kind of in a hurry) lol but I'll edit as soon as I'm done typing this message ;) Promise. No point in making you do this.

Hahahaha! :guffaw: That would totally be his style! The kind of gift he would give because he couldn't think of anything else, but has a fun twist to it (because Adam is like a plate of crazy).

Yes, indeed! And I think it could be fun if Adam or Greg would use these items on Halloween day at work lol You know, to make a satire of their work?

    Office - Kill Time

Targets where you draw black dots as your "bullet holes"
From WorldWideFred again but you can purchase on Mortimer.

Bath - Horror movie bath curtain and bath mat

Creepy but for Halloweenie if you're having a party or if you are hosting one of these mystery game :D Priceless Or you can have the Periodic Table curtain XD

      • 8" x 10"

      • Suitable for hanging or standing
    • Choose from twenty-four different color styles!
    Cocktail Chemistry Set
    [IMG]

There's also the Laboratory Beaker Mug! :D I could see Sid drinking in that

    Bloody S-Mart shirt - Unisex -

Chuck Norris Destroyed the Periodic Table shirt - Unisex -

    -------
Now with these, we'll be the most stylish fans indeed :D

You have to go in the Shop section and choose an online store to buy their merchandise. If you're lucky, they probably sell their stuff in your area. I know I'm not that lucky lol

The scarf is $15.99 on Lataz.com

The kitchen knife on Patina and it's $15.95. The Xposed Grocerie Bag on Mortimer for $10.00 and the Xposed cosmetic bag for $7.00! :D

Overall, the items are not that expensive -- again it depends on how much you're willing to spend on silly things  I know I can spend a lot LOL

I clicked on "shop" last night, but my comp froze for a bit and then the browser closed itself out. $15.99 for the scarf isn't too bad. Less than I thought it would be. I may have to put that on my Christmas list if it ever comes back in stock. :)

Holy crap, an S-Mart shirt! I totally have to buy that eventually. Army Of Darkness is one of my favorites movies ever! And I'm a huge Bruce Campbell fan! : points to icon :

The DNA thing is kind of cool, but can be used against you. Remember that one ep of NY where the person had their DNA on their wall?

Cocktail chemistry set. Cute! I don't drink, but that's awesome!

Also there's a Splat Stan Coaster  it says he's related to "dead fred".

Aww, poor Splat Stan. I love all of this stuff.

Thanks for resizing the pictures and hosting them on another site, Cyn. :)

Since it's not strictly CSI merchandise, I wasn't sure whether to keep it here or move it - but I think it's fine where it is. :)

I wonder if there's any forensics related jewelry. A necklace or earrings with dna strands on them would be cool. :)

    Found some stuff on amazon:

Scientific Explorer's Mystery Detective CSI for Kids Science Kit link

Forensics for Dummies. If you look below to the "people who bought this, also bought these" section, there are a lot more forensic type books there. :)

BTW, it should be noted that this thread isn't advertising - it's just fans showing other fans links to cool stuff they can look at. If someone wants to go onto another site and buy something, that's entirely their choice. :)

(Kind of random, I know, but I thought I'd point it out. Better safe than sorry. :))

    Of course it exists!

There's this page of DNA-related jewelry. I also love this molecule jewelry. (I could see Stella wearing some of the molecule jewelry especially. She's so classy, she'd work it.)

Ooh! If you're into do-it-yourself gifts (or if you're just cheap ;)), you can make a pair of DNA earrings using the instructions here or here. Super cool! (For some reason, I got the mental image of Adam finding those instructions and using them when he's working with some kids. Like if he has nieces or something, or if he volunteers to work with kids. Gah, that would be adorable. :adore: Actually, I could see Hawkes doing the same thing. Ok, I'll admit, the mental image of the pair of them in too-small chairs working with a bunch of kids making DNA earrings for their moms = cutest mental image evar!)

I was going to link to the 'forensic' results on Cafe Press, but I'm not sure if that's a good site to link to. I never know. It's kind of a gray area since sometimes they have shirts and mugs and stuff with TV show names or mottos...

Aww Adam and Hawkes making earrings with kids for their moms would be adorable. Or Nick and Greg... even. I could see Ryan doing it too. Of course in my mind, he'd be making a pair for a certain lady in DNA. :D

Too bad my ears aren't pierced.

 The DNA ties. Can't you just see Adam, Ryan, Greg, Hawkes and Nicky wearing those?

DNA chew toy. haha! I'd get those for my doggies, but they'd have them torn up in no time flat.

I love the street signs. DNA Road or whatever it was. then the one with Deoxyriboneculeuticacid or however that's spelled.

I'm probably gonna have to put some of these products in my fics.

Uncommon Goods used to have a necklace that was a dead body. You know how it looks when there is just the chalk outline and no body.

I looked, but they don't have it anymore. :( I swear they used to have a DNA necklace too. The do have a kitchen knife necklace and earrings, that could be forensic related.

These are fantastic! I love that shower curtain and bath mat, I really want a set of those. Could you imagine having company over and them wanting to use the restroom and seeing that? ;)

The DNA jewlery is pretty awesome too. Somewhere I have a necklace that has my actual DNA in it that I made for a biology class in high school. It was a pretty cool thing, and we found the instructions on the internet.

^^I think my sister did something similar with DNA at school - but something happened to her necklace and she didn't get to bring it home.

Guilty. I've done that before. In fact...

I think I included the DNA necklace in a fic once. Uncommon Goods is awesome. :D
