Stars Jet Into 'New York' For Location Shoot

New York got its first taste of the CSI juggernaut yesterday when the team arrived to film location scenes for the pilot episode of CSI: New York.

Newsmagazine Entertainment Tonight visited the set of "MIA/NYC - NONSTOP", the CSI: Miami episode that will introduce the new spin-off, according to Elyse's CSI Site. <FONT color=yellow>Gary Sinise</font>, who will play CSI Rick Calucci in the new series, and Miami star <font color=yellow>David Caruso</font> (Horatio Caine) were on hand for the outdoor shoot in the Big Apple.

"I got CSI: New York and it's freezing here," Sinise told Entertainment Tonight. The actor that it was "intriguing" that he and his fellow Chicago theatre thespian <font color=yellow>William Petersen</font> (Gil Grissom) were both anchoring separate CSI series. Sinise added that there were "many, many stories" to be told about New York.

According to plot details revealed by CSI Files last month, "MIA/NYC - NONSTOP" will see Horatio Caine investigating a double homicide in Miami. In his quest to get to the bottom of the deaths, Horatio follows his suspect all the way to New York city, where he works with Rick Calucci and his team to solve the mystery.

"MIA-NYC - NONSTOP" is slated to air as the penultimate episode of CSI: Miami's second season, with a likely airdate of May 17. The original report can be found here at Elyse's CSI Site.<center></center>
