Snicker RP-Open

CSI Level Two
Sara had barely gotten through that last shift. "What was I thinking?" she asked herself. "A triple? I gotta stop this. I've gotta think of the two of us." Sara put a hand on her stomach. She wasn't showing yet, but she had a feeling people were starting to have suspicions. She knew they thought the baby was Grissom's, but she was Nick's. No one knew that she and Nick had moved on when she had realized she and Griss weren't right for each other.

Catherine noticed how tired Sara looked. "Hey Sara. Long day?"

Catherine looked back at the vic. "The victim's Jordan Cardillo, 31. Her roommate found her here. No ligature marks or stab wounds or bulletholes so it could have been poison but I guess we'll have to wait for Doc to make that call." She looked around the apartment. Signs of a boyfriend having stopping by to "play" were still there. "Looks like she had company while her roommate was gone."

Sara glanced around. "Doesn't look like he's been gone long, either." She suddenly noticed a white fiber on Jordan's jacket. She picked it up with her tweezers. "Cath, what's that look like to you?"

*Umm...Jordan's a girl, but okay*
Catherine looked at it, trying to figure out what it was. "Hmm...not sure."

*okay. Oh and in asteriks is my OOC sign. Yeah I see that now. Sorry, I'm being blonde today*
"Could be," Catherine said. "That would explain no obvious COD."

"Well, it's a possibility," Catherine said. "But unless she was sick or something I don't think a thirty-one year old would just die. But then I'm not the ME."

"Well, if she was poisoned, there wouldn't be a pool of blood," Catherine reminded her. "So that's my guess." She pulled back the covers to the bed and swabbed some semen from Jordan's unknown male friend. Maybe when Brass finished talking to the roommate he could tell them something about the guy.

She looked at the lines. Certain poisons could do that to one. Arsenic was the first one that came to mind. "Hmm...you think it could be arsenic?" That would mean the killer was fairly close to her. Someone she trusted to make meals for her. Like a roommate.

Sara thought briefly and nodded. "Could be. That or Selenium. We'll have Doc check for heavy metal. What the heck?" She turned her over and noticed violent bruising on her shoulder blades. "Grabbed from behind, maybe?"
