Snake in the Todenboot

Part One- Discovery

Danny Messer is walking along the pavement. He is about to enter a drug store but comes across a man lying face down in a pool of blood.Danny gets closer and spots six bullet casings.He decides to make the call to Dispatch.
Flack arrives at the scene with Hawkes.

Flack: You called this in?
Danny : Yeah, I spotted him just laying here when I was heading to the drug store.
Flack: Did you get a closer look?
Danny: Yeah. Found a few bullets.
(Mac and Stella arrive at the scene, they stand at the other side)
Mac: About six bullets to be precise.
(Flack and Danny turn around)
Flack: You two are here late, what was the hold-up?
Mac: I choose to answer your question by saying that its none of your business.
Flack: (under his breath) Okay...

(Hawkes is examining the victim)
Stella: Find any I.D ?
Hawkes: (Hands over the victim's wallet)
(Mac walks over to Stella and stands next to her.)
Mac: (peers over Stella's shoulder and they both snigger at the name on the drivers license) Jeffery Todenboot. He's from Henderson, Nevada.
Flack, Danny and Hawkes laugh.
Flack:What sort of a name is Todenboot?

Stella: Whats he doing in NYC?
Mac: We'll find that out soon enough.

Part 2- Beckon Call

Danny is called into Mac's office

Danny knocks on the door.
Mac: Come in, sit.
Danny: (Sits)What are we talkin bout?
Mac: I'm just wanting to know how long you were at the scene before we arrived.
Danny: About 10-15. Why?
Mac: I'm surprised no-one else caught our vic before you did.
Danny: How long was he there?
Mac: Dr.Hammerback estimated that he would have been dead for at least an hour before you got there. I'm surprised no-one noticed the blood pool.
Danny: Am I free to go?
Mac: (wipes his forehead) Yeah.




I'll write parts 3 & 4 when i'm not feeling tired lol

Part 3- More Pieces to the Puzzle.

All of the team are in the conference room except for Flack and Adam, Adam was gathering information on the victim and Flack was making a phone call .

Adam runs a search on the victim....

Adam: Got it! (exits)

In the conference room all of the other CSI's are discussing the case.
Mac:(points to screen) Our victim's name is Jeffery Todenboot.
Stella: (looks at Mac) You must really love saying that name , Mac.
All CSI's in the room laugh.
Mac: (looks ahead to CSI's)Okay, Okay, time to be serious now.
Hawkes: What was our vic doing here?
Mac: We don't know as yet.
Stella: However, we know that he's from Henderson,Nevada, and he's 39 years old.
Adam enters with a portable device.
Adam: I gotcha an answer, boss.
Mac: Go ahead.
Adam: He's a children's entertainer.
Mac:(sniggers) What the f--k?
Adam: It's true.
Mac: (clears throat) Right. We need to gather more information on our vic, if he's got family and so on.

Part 4- Infoming
Don Flack walks up the corridor.
Mac is with Stella in his office.Flack knocks on the door.

Mac: Come in.
Flack: Hey Mac.
Mac: Hi.
Flack: I just got off the phone with Vegas PD CSI department.
Mac: And?
Flack: They wanna discuss our case some more with you and Stella via a video conference. They know our vic.
Mac: When do they wanna talk?
Flack: in about 5.
Mac: We'll be there.

Part 5- Video to Vegas
Mac and Stella enter the conference room after receiving the memo from Flack.

Mac and Stella stand in front of the table.
They look at each other and grin.
Catherine pops up on the screen as Flack enters the room.
He stands next to Mac.

Flack: Hey Catherine.
Catherine: Hi, Detective Flack. Captain Brass told me that we have a video conference going with New York's finest.
Flack: Yeah, well I gotta introduce you to our lab supervisors, Detective Mac Taylor and Detective Stella Bonasera.
Catherine: Hi Detectives.I am Catherine Willows ,the LVPD crime lab Supervisor. Langston told me about you when he came back from there.
Mac: I have ask a question , Catherine.
Catherine: Ask away.
Mac: Why isn't Dr.Langston with you?
Catherine: Langston took a sabbatical, so Dr.Gil Grissom and I have been assigned to this case so we can help you, by the way, I know who Jeffery Todenboot is and LVPD have had a previous encounter with his estranged wife, Marta.We have her recorded on the database, for an act of self-defense related to a domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend prior to Jeffery.
Flack: So what your saying is that her ex tried to go all Norman Bates on her ass.
Catherine: Yeah. We also encountered another man who is a friend of Marta's.
Stella: Who would that be?
Catherine: His name is Dick Scheizen.
Stella: Someone told me that scheizen was german for sh*t. But I have to ask... Where does Dick live?
Mac: (sniggers)
Catherine: He move to NYC about a month ago and changed his residence to New York State, according one of his other records.
Stella: We'll have to find out just where he is.
Catherine: We'll be there soon by the way.

Part 6- Showing up

Mac and Stella are sharing an office, temporarily, whilst the roof in Stella's one is undergoing repairs.
Stella is sitting down on one of the swivel chairs doing some paperwork, when Mac walks around to the back of her and sits on the second chair. He places his arm around Stella's shoulder.Stella turns around and faces him.
Stella: What are you doing, Mac?
Mac: Well, I've moved on and I'm thinking that its better to do it with you, than to do so with any other woman.
Stella doesn't verbally respond to this , however when Mac leans in and kisses her, this causes her to kiss him back.They don't stop until Flack walks in.
Flack: Hey!
Mac breaks away from Stella and turns around to Flack.
Mac: Yes?
Flack: Caught you two playing tonsil hockey. CSI Willows called me again, they're gonna be here in an hour.
Mac: Yeah, well instead of Dr.Phil trying to solve a problem with people, its Dr.Gil helping us out with a murder investigation, and yes I know that they'll be here in an hour, Stella got a text message from Catherine probably before you got the call.
Flack: Right-e-o.

The LVPD Chopper flies in and lands on top of a building.
Catherine Willows and Gil Grissom climb out of the chopper.
Gil: Good afternoon detectives, My name is Dr.Gil Grissom , I'm the one who will be helping out CSI Catherine Willows and you on this case.
Mac: Good to meet you , Gil.
Catherine: Gil, These are the NYPD crime lab supervisors, Detective Mac Taylor and Detective Stella Bonasera.
Gil: Good to meet you both.

Dispatch calls Mac: Detective Taylor , One of your team has been held hostage and there's an officer down!

Part 7- One down, one hostage.
Mac,Stella ,Grissom and Catherine arrive at the scene, which is an abandoned fireworks factory , where Danny and Flack are present.
Flack: Hawkes and Lindsay are in there.
Mac: Who's injured?
Flack: Hawkes.Lindsay's been held hostage.
Stella: Who's holding her hostage?
Flack: Dick Schiezen.
Catherine: One of our people of interest.
Mac: Stel and I are going in.
Flack: I'm going with you. (Looks at Danny) Danny , Stay here with Dr.Grissom and CSI Willows.
Danny: K.
Mac, Stella and Flack enter the factory.They find Lindsay strapped to a chair and Hawkes lying on the ground , with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
Stella goes unstrap Lindsay when Dick sneaks up behind her, grabs her hair and points the gun to her head.
Dick: Drop the gun, detective!
Mac: You drop yours, or the only you'll make an exit is in a bodybag, jackass!
Dick: Not gonna, sorry.
Flack sneaks up behind Dick and shoots him in the shoulder, Dick falls to the ground.
Mac to dispatch: We need paramedics to the scene. We have an injured officer and an injured suspect.
Stella walks towards Lindsay and unstraps her from the chair.
Lindsay: Thanks, Stella.
The paramedics arrive and attend to both Hawkes and to Dick.
One of the paramedics tells Flack that Hawkes will be okay.

Part 8/9
Part 8-Hospital
Lindsay and Hawkes have both been assessed Hawkes for his wounds and Lindsay for any trauma,but it doesn't look like Hawkes will making it out of here in the next few days. Lindsay is out and about, and this situation seems to have changed her somewhat, she is not as whiny as she was before, and has a greater respect for those around her and this is what motivates her to see Hawkes.
Lindsay: Hey.
Hawkes is somewhat groggy at first, but he manages to say "Hey." back to Lindsay. They have a good long conversation with each other, meanwhile Mac ,Grissom and Flack go and talk to Dick, who is also in a hospital bed.
Flack: Hey. We need to talk to you.
Dick: Oh, brother, what's it this time?
Mac: Dick, I know that you would be some sort of pain, but did you kill Jeffery?
Dick: No, but I'll give ya somethin' .
Mac: What is it?
Dick: Well, I overheard Marta talkin to some guy called Alfie Bongaday, her lover.
Flack: What's it got to do with our case?
Dick: I'm about to tell ya , jackass. Anyways, Marta called him, said she was sick of Jeffery and all that wanted from him was his money, so she asked if Alfie could 'knock him off ' for her.
Mac: In English.
Dick: Okay, wiseass, she asked if Alfie could kill him.
Mac: Thanks for your time, Dick.
Dick: Yeah, whatever.
The three cops exit.

Dispatch Call: Two suspects are heading your way , Taylor!
Part 9- Flashback.
Flashes back to Vegas, when Sara makes the call to Marta, a long-time friend of hers. She tells her that Grissom and Catherine and the two NYPD detectives may be headed back to Vegas, but what Sara doesn't realise is that they're actually staying put in NY.
There's a knock at Sara's door.
Sara: Who is it?
Marta bursts in , with Alfie tagging along.
Marta: Thanks for the tip, bitch! but I know you're working for the cops.
Marta turns to Alfie.
Marta to Alfie: Knock her off, Alf!
Alfie whips out his gun and shoots Sara in the head, causing her to drop.He and Marta exit from the house and to their car and begin to drive.
Part 10- It all comes to a header!

Part 10- Curtain Call
All CSI's are in the break room when Flack recieves a Dispatch call.
Dispatch: CSI Sara Sidle was killed at around 3.30pm, west coast time, they think that Marta Todenboot is the prime suspect and that her partner Alfie was with her.
Flack: K, Thanks.
Mac: Dispatch.
Flack: Yep, LVPD CSI Sara Sidle was shot and killed and Marta's believed to be the instigator.
Mac: Doesn't surprise me, what does surprise me was that she had a second person killed, a cop nevertheless.
Flack: I wonder how Sara was connected to her.
Catherine is standing behind them, in the doorway when this conversation is going on.
Catherine: I could answer that one for ya.
Mac: Okay, tell us how she was connected.
Catherine: I remember telling me one day that Marta was a long-time friend of hers.
Mac: Connection established.
Mac recieves a call from Brass, who informs him that Nick found Sara's phone on the floor at the scene, he checked the dialed numbers and also found that Sara's last call was to Marta.
Stella, Catherine, Grissom and Mac are in Mac's office when their next conversation takes place.
Stella: Who was that?
Mac: Brass, they found Sidle's phone, her last call was to Marta, which means that she tipped us off to Marta.
Stella: So your saying that Sara told her that we're going Vegas, even though it wasn't true.
Mac: Yes.
Catherine: Flack just called me, Marta's in town , and Alfie's been found unconscious and taken to hospital, where Danny is asking him questions.

This time they're all at the same abandoned warehouse. Marta's inside and she's barricaded herself.Flack meets them at the scene.
Flack: Alright, Mac, Stella, myself, Grissom and Catherine are all goin in! Officers! surround the area!
There is a a stand-off between Marta and the cops, eventually the cops win this one, and Marta is dragged out in cuffs.
Alfie is escorted from his hospital room in cuffs also.
Looks like these two will be going away for a long time.
Flack, Danny, Lindsay, Stella and Mac are on top of a building when the LVPD chopper flies away. Danny , Lindsay and Flack, walk away, leaving Mac and Stella standing together.
It begins to rain , then pour down as Mac kisses Stella again.
