Captain
<font size="3">Hello World!</font>

This is where I'm supposed to discuss my reaction to the Academy Awards, who was there, who wasn't there, who looked fab, who looked flab... but seeing as I didn't watch it, I can't really comment on it. Don't shoot me, I'm just not a fan of award ceremonies. Nor do I care what people are wearing. I barely care about what I'm wearing. It just doesn't hold my interest. I'm with my friend Jed Bartlet from The West Wing. The Oscars need to be more flamboyant, so people with short attention spans, such as myself, can enjoy it. Just hear me out for a second. Two actors enter a ring. They are judged on poise, talent, looks, and charisma. One actor leaves the ring. Said actor is crowned as the victor. He/she will worshipped by all during the course of one year. The other actor is eaten by its fellow thespians. Now there's a show for the indifferent masses, ain't it?

Of course I'm kidding. I don't, in any way, condone Hollywood cannibalism. Congratulations to <font color=yellow>Jamie Foxx</font>. A very deserving honor.

Here's what was hot back in early March, 2003:

<ul>[*]No Vegas/Miami Rivalry, Says Petersen
The Vegas and Miami teams whipped out their peace pipes and smoked for a long, tumultuous-free relationship. Actor <font color=yellow>William Petersen</font>, who has always been vocal about his stance on the growing CSI franchise, mantained that above all, there is no rivalry between the Vegas and Miami teams. "It's always nice to be the only guys on the block. There's just a lot more guys on the block now," the actor said.

[*]CBS CEO: No New Spin-Off Planned Yet
Before the birth of the bouncing CSI: New York, CSI's powers that be were practicing safe writing in order the avoid an unwanted spin-off.

[*]'CSI: Miami' In Solid Start To Reruns
New kid on the block CSI: Miami was not only doing well with new episodes, but was beginning to claim itself as king of Monday nights with high ratings for repeated episodes.
<font size="3">Today's Television Listings</font>

<ul> [*]If you turn on your television at 10 p.m. tonight, you won't see a new episode of Miami, but a repeat of this season's "Pirated". Here's a description of the episode:

<font color=yellow><blockquote>"Horatio suspects modern-day pirates are at large when six bodies are found floating near the Miami coast. Horatio suspects that a ship was hijacked with some of the crew killed and then dumped overboard. Evidence suggests that other crew members might have escaped on a life raft. Using radar and GPS technology, the CSIs find survivors but their stories don't match. Now, Horatio and the team must learn what really happened out in the ocean as they find themselves investigating the seamy underbelly of Miami’s militias and arms dealers."

</font></blockquote>

[*]At 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, CBS will air CSI: New York's new episode, "The Fall". Here's a preview:

<font color=yellow><blockquote>"When young gang members murder the owner of an upscale Bronx wine store, the CSIs must work to find evidence that ultimately ties someone to the crime. Before dying, the store owner makes a statement to police identifying his attackers as young gang members. Tempers flare when the murder investigation reunites Detective Flack with his long-time mentor and friend Sergeant Gavin Moran, who was the first to arrive at the crime scene. Meanwhile, Danny and Aiden investigate the death of an influential movie producer found dead on the canopy of his Chelsea apartment building."

</font></blockquote>

[*]Like Miami, CSI will also be a repeat on Thursday night at 9/8 c. Here's a description of "Mea Culpa":

<font color=yellow><blockquote>"After a murder trial is reopened to explore new forensic evidence, Grissom discovers a previously undetected fingerprint on a piece of evidence during his cross-examination. This oversight is an opportunity for new assistant lab director Conrad Ecklie to put Grissom and his nightshift team under the microscope."

</font></blockquote>
In addition, Spike TV will be repeating CSI episodes at least twice daily for the rest of the week. A full listing of their upcoming episodes can be found here at SpikeTV.com.
