CSI Files
Captain
<font size="3">Hello World!</font>
No, not the CSI episode "Feeling the Heat", but the sweltering conditions here in Queensland. Although I have to say I've been treating my fan with the utmost care since watching that episode. And, come to think of it, I haven't looked at a rollercoaster the same way since "Turn of the Screws" aired.
Luck certainly hasn't been on our side this summer. First, the air conditioner broke down (hence the fan filling in as a poor replacement), and then the pool filter broke down and had to be taken away for repairs. In the meantime, our pool became more like a swamp, as algae started growing on the bottom. Yuck. However, a change seems to be in the air, as the new filter was was fitted today, and hopefully we'll all be swimming by Christmas Day.
I hope all CSI Files readers have a safe, fun and (somewhat) restful holiday season!

<ul>[*]At 10:00 p.m. tonight, CBS will be showing a repeat of the CSI: Miami episode "Murder in a Flash". Here's how the network describes the episode:
<font color=yellow><blockquote>"E-mails and text messages trigger a mass gathering of students to perform a random task on a golf course; however, as the crowd disperses, the body of a high school student is found. The original message triggering the "flash mob" is traced to a high school senior whose father is a high-powered defense attorney. However, the case changes direction when Horatio and the team learn that the schoolmaster's daughter may have had something to do with the murder and evidence reveals that the victim was having an affair with his chemistry teacher."
