<font size="3">Hello World!</font>
The ABC (the Australian network, not the American one) aired the first-ever episode of Doctor Who again tonight. The network has decided to show all the series again from day one.
It was quite a surreal experience watching the show: it was in grainy black-and-white, featured some astonishingly bad acting and ludicrous special effects, but despite all this it was oddly compelling. Especially interesting was the pacing compared to modern day television shows: there were only three or four scenes, each of them very "talky", whereas today screenwriters are usually given the instruction not to make any scene longer than two pages.
Neverhtless, it was rather cool to see some of the most familiar Doctor Who elements as they were introduced, especially the show's great premise, which would hook most television viewers today, were it not for the dodgy production values. Kudos to the ABC for rerunning the series after all these years!

<ul>[*]CBS will be showing a repeat of CSI: Miami's "Body Count" at 10:00 p.m. tonight. Here's how the network describes the episode:
<font color=yellow><blockquote>"The trouble begins when an inmate is stabbed to death in the prison yard. Shortly after Horatio arrives on the scene, a helicopter appears above the correctional facility. He immediately fears that the murder was a decoy to set up an escape. That's confirmed as three prisoners hop aboard the chopper and flee. As the investigation gets underway, the identities of the fugitives become known and a horrible realization sweeps over Horatio: Two of the escapees are cold-blooded killers who already have their next victims picked out."

[*]CBS will be airing a repeat of CSI's "Lady Heather's Box" at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
<font color=yellow><blockquote>"Grissom connects two murdered male escorts to dominatrix Lady Heather; Catherine's daughter, Lindsay, is trapped in a sinking car."
