Sinise Recognized For Military Support

<I>CSI: New York</I> leading man <font color=yellow>Gary Sinise</font> (Mac Taylor) will be the special honoree at "A Night of Honour", a benefit being held on October 4 in Universal City, California to raise money for the <A class="link" HREF="http://www.iraqstar.org/">Iraq Star Foundation</a>.<p>Sinise was chosen as the guest of honour for the benefit because of "his compassion and commitment to our troops and the children of Iraq." Sinise travels around the world to perform for American service members with his Lt Dan Band. He also co-founded <A class="link" HREF="http://www.operationiraqichildren.org/">Operation Iraqi Children</a>, which provides much-needed supplies for children in Iraq. Sinise is also a spokesperson for the US Disabled Veterans Life Memorial Foundation.<p>"A Night of Honour" will feature a performance from comedian and talk show host <font color=yellow>Dennis Miller</font>. The evening will also feature auctions to raise money for the Iraq Star Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that helps wounded soldiers in need of reconstructive surgery. Men and women who have benefited from the Iraq Star Foundation will share their stories at the event.<p>In addition to Sinise and Miller, "A Night of Honour" will feature <font color=yellow>Dr Phil McGraw</font>, <font color=yellow>Scott Baio</font>, <font color=yellow>Adam Baldwin</font>, <font color=yellow>Stephen Baldwin</font>, <font color=yellow>Robert Davi</font>, <font color=yellow>Paul Stanley</font>, <font color=yellow>Tom Dreesen</font>, <font color=yellow>Angie Everhart</font>, <font color=yellow>Kevin Farley</font>, <font color=yellow>Marla Maples</font>, <font color=yellow>Robin McGraw</font>, <font color=yellow>Katharine McPhee</font>, <font color=yellow>John Ratzenberger</font>, <font color=yellow>Kevin Sorbo</font>, <font color=yellow>Kristy Swanson</font>, <font color=yellow>Karri Turner</font> and <font color=yellow>Jon Voight</font>. The evening will start out with a celebrity red, white and blue carpet arrival at the Universal Hilton.
