The second half of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's sophomore season is coming to Europe.
Momentum recently announced it will release the final eleven episodes of season two on DVD on October 6, according to the Region 2 Project. The three-disc set, which is available only in Region 2, has a recommended retail price of £39.99.
The DVD package contains several pivotal CSI episodes, including "Identity Crisis", which features the return of Paul Millander; the CSI: Miami pilot, "Cross-Jurisdictions"; and "The Hunger Artist", in which Gil Grissom learns he is going deaf.
Several featurettes will be included as part of the new set. These are "The CSI Tour", "Shooting Locations", "Making of a Hit", and "Tools of the Trade". DVD-ROM capable machines will be able to play a special bonus feature, called "Recovered Evidence", and the set also features a trailer for season three.
While season two, part two, won't be released until October, the first half of the season is now out on DVD in Europe. The DVD package can be ordered from Amazon.co.uk for £30.74, 25\% off the recommended retail price. US fans can pre-order the entire second season from Amazon.com; the set will be released on September 2.
