i cant believe stuart fielden has left our beloved bradford bulls to go to wigan (of all places)
he had 18 months of his contract left but he chose to end it. he should have gone to nrl instead of renewing his contract, what a traitor.
whats the point of having the worlds best prop when the rest of the team are totally useless. anyway they are going out of super league lol

anyway we are gaining a good prop next season.
so stuart fielden i hope you have a crappy time at wigan.

Parramatta are turning into a bit of a joke...they're losing pretty much all their games, and theire players are out getting drunk and into fights :rolleyes:
I still love them and continue supporting them, but it's just ridiculous...
luckily they have a Bye this week, so they really can't screw that up :lol:
 
lol in aussie i support brisbane broncos and hubby supports roosters lol. as for fighting stuart was one of the main fighters in rl. gonna miss that.
maybe he should stay in england and i should come to australia.
yay that would do me.
 
you play with an oval shaped ball. lol google it rugby league better than sissy football, at least you see a real tackle

Football isn't meant to be contact/tackle game ;) (unlike rugby, which I've seen every now and then and surely looks more interesting than American football)

Do they play Rugby only in GB-affected countries (India, Aussieland etc. etc.) ?
 
Well, I know they play Rugby League in England, Aussieland, New Zealand and Papua New Guniea, but other than that I have no idea...

And WOAH! Go PARRA! 46-12 last week against Newcastle...poor Joey Johns though, he got the 4 points he needed to officially become the games highest ever pointscorer (2108), but then we smahsed them...

ironically though he got the record, breaking Jason Taylors record of 2107, and Jason Taylor is the Parra coach :lol:
 
oh, Joey is Andrew...I don't know why, but some of the players have nicknames like that. Andrew Johns (Joey), Brad Fittler (Freddy), Phil Gould (Gus) etc.

sorry, I've just gotten into the habit of calling them by their nicknames *blush* it actually took me a while to remember Gus Gould's real name :lol:

Wow, I can't believe how good Parra are going at the moment, 7 wins in a row :D At this rate, they will make the finals...
The last time they won this many in a row was 2001, and they made it to the grand final, but then lost in a very embarrassing game *blush*
Oh well, this might be their year, but I've learnt not to get my hopes up after what happened last year...won the minor premiership, and made it to the finals and lost just before the grand final 29-0 to the cowboys...well, at least the cowboys got smashed in the grand final :D
