Great review!! I'm reading the book now and really enjoying it. I'm glad Steve is finally going to find out the link between him and Squeegel and have to confront that.

Does Black Squeegel show up or is the answer to that too spoilery???

Nope, Black Sqweegel was limited to the end of Dark Origins/beginning of Dark Prophecy. I think that one is firmly in CSI land now. (I went back and looked at the beginning of DP, and it mentioned the DNA tying back to a cold case in Vegas - so it seems like that was pretty much passed off to CSI. I'd be curious to see if the character ever shows up on the show again.)
