FTF meant Face to Face, right?

I think this episode might have been inspired by a true story. In 2005 or 2006, a 22 year old man was shot and killed and the cops discovered that it all had to do with online relationships. The shooter killed him out of jealousy because they were both talking to a teenage girl online. The shooter was a man in his forties. The cops discovered that the "teenage girl" was actually a mother in her 40s using her daughter's screenname/email and sending these guys her daughter's photo.
