Great review, as usual.

The episode was good, but I just can't seem to really get into episodes of the original CSI these days. It's not that they're boring - they're consistently well written and well acted, moreso than either of the spinoffis, but...ok, they're kind of boring to me. I don't know what it is. They're also pretty depressing. I know, I know, it's a crime show - and all of the shows have depressing cases, but this one just seems to really drag me down week after week.

I do like when cases are solved without a clear good guy/bad guy ending - it's nice to see the show emphasizing the grey areas.
