This was one of the episodes that left the deepest impression on me over the years, especially since it took place so early in the show's run (before I really had the chance to get 'used' to such dark storylines, if that makes sense). I don't remember a lot of the episodes the show has had in the past decade, but I definitely remember this one. (It's right up there with the Miami episode "Slaughterhouse" on the list of disturbing episodes that stuck with me.)
