The franchise wins in overall viewers and the demographic prized by advertisers.<p><I>CSI: Miami</I> came out on top with 13.33 million viewers and a 3.8 rating/10 share in the important 18-49 demographic. <I>Castle</I> (7.61 million, 2.1/6) and <I>Medium</I> (7.58 million, 2.8/8) shared the second and third positions, with <I>Castle</I> pulling in more viewers while <I>Medium</I> won the key demo.<p>12.01 million viewers ensured <I>CSI: New York</I>'s victory on Wednesday, as did the 2.8/8 it earned among adults 18-49. <I>The Unusuals</I> was second with 6.21 million viewers and 1.9/5. A repeat of <I>Law and Order</I> came in third with 5.95 million viewers and 1.7/5.<p><I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> was watched by 15.42 million people on Thursday, winning its timeslot. <I>Hell's Kitchen</I> was second with 8.05 million viewers, followed by NBC's combination of <I>The Office</I> (8.24 million) and <I>30 Rock</I> (7.27 million), a repeat of <I>Grey's Anatomy</I> (5.18 million) and a repeat of <I>Supernatural</I> (1.84 million). The NBC combo tied <I>CSI</I> in the key demographic with 3.8/10. In fact, although NBC averaged out to 3.8/10 with the inclusion of <I>Rock</I>'s score (3.5/9), <I>Office</I> actually came out ahead of <I>CSI</I> from 9:00-9:30pm with 4.1/11. <I>Kitchen</I> (3.4/9), <I>Grey's</I> (1.5/4) and <I>Supernatural</I> (0.7/2) rounded out the hour.
