All three members of the franchise air new episodes, and all three series take the top spot.<p>On Monday, <I>CSI: Miami</I> came out on top in the 10:00pm hour with 13.62 million viewers and a 3.9 rating/10 share in the crucial 18-49 demographic. <I>Boston Legal</I> came in second with 9.40 million and 2.5/6, and the special Monday airing of <I>Life</I> came in third with 5.78 million and 2.3/6. Next week, NBC will start airing <I>My Own Worst Enemy</I> in the 10:00pm slot.<p><I>CSI: New York</I> had 15.68 million viewers at 10:00pm on Wednesday, rising to 16.03 million at the half-hour. It earned the top spot over <I>Dirty Sexy Money</I> (5.95 million) and <I>Lipstick Jungle</I> (4.77 million). In the 18-49 demo, <I>CSI: NY</I> had 4.2/11, rising to 4.4/12 at 10:30pm., easily beating <I>Money</I> (2.1/6, dropping to 1.9/5 at the half-hour) and <I>Jungle</I> (1.9/5, falling to 1.8/5).<p>The season nine premiere of <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> crushed the competition with 22.98 million viewers and 7.0/17 in the vital 18-49 demographic. <I>Grey's Anatomy</I> came in second in both viewers (14.54 million) and the 18-49 demo (5.5/13), which it usually dominates. NBC came in third with a combination of <I>The Office</I> (9.00 million, 4.6/11) and <I>Saturday Night Live Weekend Update</I> (10.59 million, 5.0/12). Compared to the airing of <I>CSI</I> from a year ago, <I>CSI</I> was up 3.19 million viewers and 15% in the 18-49 demo year-to-year. <p><I>CSI</I> led into the new drama <I>Eleventh Hour</I> at 10:00pm, which pulled in 11.59 million viewers and 3.4/9 in the 18-49 demographic. Great ratings all round! :D NY's ratings just keep getting better.

I'm not surprised that CSI crushed the competition, but even if it was expected, the figures are still rather impressive (although down on last season's premiere).
 
With a combined 18 seasons already completed (starting 19, 20 and 21 now), the domination in ratings really speaks volumes about the CSI's. Having 2 spin offs were definitely the best move too, CBS has three killer time slots.
