The <I>CSI</I> franchise is holding its ground.<p><I>CSI: Miami</I> came out on top with 14.07 million viewers, increasing to 14.56 million at the half-hour. <I>Miami</I> easily beat out <I>Boston Legal</I> and the season premiere of <I>Life</I> (at a special night and time), which earned 9.80 million and 6.92 million viewers respectively. In the 18-49 demographic, <I>Miami</I> had a 4.2 rating/10 share (rising to 4.5/12 at 10:30pm). <I>Life</I> came in second with 3.0/7 (dropping to 2.5/7 at the half-hour) and <I>Legal</I> had 2.5/6 (2.2/6 at 10:30pm). Week to week, <I>Miami</I> lost 2.55 million viewers from the numbers it earned for the season premiere.<p>The second episode of <I>CSI: New York</I> pulled in 14.67 million overall viewers and 4.1/11 in the 18-49 demo. <I>Dirty Sexy Money</I>'s season premiere came in second (7.14 million, 2.5/7), and <I>Lipstick Jungle</I> rounded out third place with 5.31 million viewers and 1.9/5 in the crucial demo. Compared to the season premiere, <I>CSI: New York</I> posted similar numbers to last week's 14.59 million overall viewers. Great ratings so far this season! :D I'm very happy that New York managed to gain viewers for the second episode of the season, hopefully this pattern will continue for the rest of the season. :)
 
I am very pleased to see Miami and NY at the top. I always worry that less and less people will watch and then there will be no more CSI.
