Petersen: When I Deal With It, It's All Pretend

CSI Files

Captain
This bomb scare is unscripted.
A man identified as Scott Juhun Lee walked up to authorities at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on July 2, claiming to be a terrorist. He was arrested when he told the police the black bag he was carrying contained a bomb. The upper- and lower-level roads were immediately shut down while the Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad investigated the potential threat. No explosives were found.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's William Petersen (Gil Grissom) was at the airport when the threat occurred. "Boy, they responded great," he told TMZ. "The police department, the fire department--everybody's here. They took care of everything. Nobody got hurt, everybody's fine, so it's great."
When it comes to his job, Petersen is no stranger to dangerous situations of the fictional variety. "When I deal with it, it's a movie set and it's all pretend," he said. "This is the real stuff, and these guys are the real guys, so it's great."
The original information is from the LA Times and Yahoo News.
