CSI Files

Captain
CSI: Miami airs the final new episode of 2007.

On Monday at 10:00pm EST, CSI: Miami starts things out with a bang in "Miami Confidential":

While investigating the murder of a young woman, the CSIs uncover a meth lab in her apartment and an unscrupulous FBI agent with a secret life of his own.

This is the eleventh episode of Miami directed by Sam Hill. Prior to "Miami Confidential", Hill's latest turn in the director's chair came earlier this season with "Deep Freeze". Marc Dube has written nineteen previous episodes of Miami, the latest being "Stand Your Ground", which first aired last month.

The following actors and actresses will appear in "Miami Confidential" in guest-starring roles:

[*]Boti Bliss as Maxine Valera[*]Matthew Del Negro as Mike Farallon[*]Erin Cahill as Rachel Hemming[*]Mark Rolston as Agent Glen Cole[*]Ricky Harris as Jeremy Broyles[*]Tia Texada as Jane Duncroft[*]Micah Alberti as Zach Hemming[*]Mette Holt as Linda Farallon[*]Brian Elerding as Haggard Guy[*]Schuyler Yancey as MDPD Officer[*]Russell Edge as Team Leader[/list]

Boti Bliss returns to her role as Maxine Valera, and Matthew Del Negro is making his second appearance on the show as Mike Farallon, the first being in this season's "Chain Reaction". Mark Rolston has appeared as Agent Cole in two previous episodes of Miami, the latest being season five's "Death Pool 100". Ricky Harris has appeared on both CSI: New York ("Grand Master") and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation ("Anonymous") as Disco Placid. Schuyler Yancey was in the New York episode "Past Imperfect".

CSI: New York was originally scheduled to air "Happily Never After" on Wednesday at 10:00pm EST. However, the network made a last-minute change to pull the new episode and replace it with a repeat: "The Deep" from earlier this season. In this episode, the team investigated the death of a man whose body was found during a boat race. The case became more complicated when the team discovered that the murder was part of an assassination plot.

Thursday finds CSI: Crime Scene Investigation airing two repeats back-to-back: the season seven finale "Living Doll" and the season eight premiere "Dead Doll". Together, these two episodes brought loose ends together with the resolution of the miniature serial killer storyline, and the team had to race against time to save Sara's life.

"Miami Confidential", "Happily Never After" and the reruns of "Living Doll" and "Dead Doll" begin airing December 17 on CBS.

Urg, they pulled "Happily Never After" after this was made. It'll be edited to reflect that.

Re: Official 'Miami Confidential' & 'Happily Never After' De

What???? They pulled it?

Re: Official 'Miami Confidential' & 'Happily Never After' De

Apparently

I can't fathom why they'd do it last-minute like this, but I can't see a reason for the Futon Critic to say it when it wasn't true...

I checked CBS Press Express and the official NY page and didn't see a notice in either place...

If it's wrong, I sincerely apologize for jumping the gun.

Re: Official 'Miami Confidential' & 'Happily Never After' De

WTF?!

I don't want Miami. I want NY. lol. Miami is horrible this season and NY is amazing. But why would they do this at the very very last minute? Couldn't they do this like last week? When the showed the darn preview?

This strike is driving me insane.

Re: Official 'Miami Confidential' & 'Happily Never After' De

I think it's kind of strange since (I believe) Miami has 13 episodes produced and NY has 14--yet they pull an episode of NY and leave a new episode of Miami? That leaves Miami with one more episode and NY with three, right? Pssh, doesn't make sense.

But I guess maybe it was too late to pull Miami too...

Re: Official 'Miami Confidential' & 'Happily Never After' De

I was surprized that they were even intending to air a new ep this week, writers strike or no, with all the Christmas shenanagins, I wouldn't have expected ratings to be great anyway.
NCIS is after doing the same, pulling their new episode that was supposed to air tonight.
