They're back!<p>Starting out the week on Monday at 10:00pm EST, <I>CSI: Miami</I> airs the first part of a two-night event with <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/ambush.shtml">"Ambush"</a>:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>In part one of the two-part episode, Horatio's past comes back to haunt him when Julia (guest star Elizabeth Berkley) has him arrested for murder.</font><p></dt></dl><p>This is <font color=yellow>Sam Hill</font>'s twelfth time directing <I>Miami</I>. Brendan Fehr is returning as Dan Cooper, who was last seen in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/bang_bang_your_debt.shtml">"Bang, Bang, Your Debt"</a> at the beginning of the season. Giancarlo Esposito was in the episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season5/rio.shtml">"Rio"</a> during season 5, and he is returning as Chief Braga in "Ambush". Chase Ryan Jeffery was in the <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season6/gum_drops.shtml">"Gum Drops"</a> during the show's sixth season. Greg Collins played Officer Arvington in four episodes during <I>CSI</I>'s first season, including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season1/face_lift.shtml">"Face Lift"</a>. The information will be added to the episode guide if and when it is provided by CBS.<p>On Wednesday at 10:00pm EST, <I>CSI: New York</I> returns with its first new post-strike episode. <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/doa_for_a_day.shtml">"DOA For A Day"</a> concludes the story started earlier this season in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/down_the_rabbit_hole.shtml">"Down the Rabbit Hole"</a>:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>Working with an anonymous tip, the CSIs travel to an abandoned warehouse and back into the virtual world where they hope to find one of the city's most-wanted criminals.</font><p></dt></dl><p><font color=yellow>Christine Moore</font> has directed four other episodes of <I>New York</I>, including the last pre-strike episode, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/playing_with_matches.shtml">"Playing With Matches"</a>. The episode finds the team under the weather:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>Grissom and his team battle the flu when they are called upon by DDA Klein (Bedelia) to investigate the deaths of several key witnesses for a grand jury case against a dangerous Las Vegas gang.</font><p></dt></dl><p>"Grissom's Divine Comedy" marks <font color=yellow>Richard J. Lewis</font>'s fortieth turn in the director's chair for <I>CSI</I>. His most recent episode was <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/bull.shtml">"Bull"</a>, the last pre-strike episode to air. The teleplay of this week's episode was written by <font color=yellow>Jacqueline Hoyt</font>, who has five writing credits for the show, including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/the_case_of_the_cross_dressing_carp.shtml">"The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp"</a>. It's weird--when I see actors from New York, they're usually on Vegas or Miami (I believe there are three people from NYC on Vegas this week)--I wish we'd have more people from NYC on CSI:NY. *pout*

Also, how odd that three people on Vegas were in episodes of Carnivale--not that it's relevant, it just jumped out at me since I liked that show. :p
