The network is <A class="link" HREF="http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117998169.html?categoryId=14&cs=1">moving forward</a> with <I>Line</I>, which Littman and Cannon are executive producing along with <font color=yellow>Doug Jung</font> (<I>Big Love</I>) and <I>CSI</I> producer <font color=yellow>Jerry Bruckheimer</font>. The drama will star <font color=yellow>Dylan McDermott</font> as the head of an undercover crime-fighting team.<p><li> CBS became the first advertiser to <A class="link" HREF="http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/CA6626347.html?industryid=47171">appear</a> on the front page of the <I>New York Times</I>. The first ad promoted successful CBS series like <I>CSI</I>, and subsequent ads for the company will appear every Monday.<p><li> MobiTV now offers full-length episodes of CBS series such as <I>CSI</I> and its spinoffs for viewers to download to their mobile phones. "Partnering with MobiTV allows fans of our most popular shows to stay up to date on their favorite characters wherever they go," CBS Mobile's Executive Vice President and General Manger <font color=yellow>Jeff Sellinger</font> told <A class="link" HREF="http://news.prnewswire.com/DisplayReleaseContent.aspx?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/01-06-2009/0004949676&EDATE=">PR Newswire</a>. "This partnership further reflects our desire to provide CBS viewers with access to the shows they love, wherever they are, and extend our reach within the mobile universe."<p><li> <A class="link" HREF="http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,965/">Adventure Gamers</a> described the new <I>CSI: NY</I> computer game as "casual", and the site contains some screencaps in addition to comments about the game itself.<p><li> CBS made a deal with Time Warner Cable in which the cable company will pay for access to CBS shows like <I>CSI</I>. The network has signed deals with smaller cable companies, but Time Warner is the biggest and most significant in terms of power, according to CBS President and CEO <font color=yellow>Les Moonves</font>. "I think it opens the door for more of these deals," Moonves <A class="link" HREF="http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/07/business/media/07cable.html?ref=technology">said</a> on Tuesday. "It sets a template, and people now know we will get paid for our content."</ul><center></center>
