The machine uses tetrahertz wavelengths to create a 3D image of what lies below the surface of an object. <font color=yellow>Richard Kurtz</font>, chairman and CEO of Advanced Photonix Inc, said he isn't concerned about how <I>Miami</I> portrays the technology. "Perhaps they'll take literary license," he told <A class="link" HREF="http://www.mlive.com/annarbornews/news/index.ssf/2008/12/top_tv_crime_show_uses_ann_arb.html">MLive.com</a>. "They're trying to make it so people can easily understand technology, God bless 'em for it, it is difficult to explain."<p><li> CSI Files previously <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/news/050708_01.shtml">reported</a> that former <I>Battlestar Galactica</I> writer <font color=yellow>Bradley Thompson</font> (and writing partner <font color=yellow>David Weddle</font>) made the switch to the <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> writing team. However, Thompson revisited his <I>Galactica</I> days when he got married earlier this month. <font color=yellow>Edward James Olmos</font> (<I>Battlestar</I>'s Admiral Adama) officiated, and the ceremony ended with an enthusiastic "So say we all!" (<A class="link" HREF="http://blog.wired.com/underwire/2008/12/marriage-galact.html">Source</a>)<p><li> Actor <font color=yellow>De'Angelo Wilson</font>, who appeared in the <I>CSI: NY</I> episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season1/outside_man.shtml">"Outside Man"</a> during the show's first season, was <A class="link" HREF="http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7013337131">recently found dead</a> in Los Angeles due to an apparent suicide.<p><li> <b>Spoilers ahead!</b><p>According to <I>TV Guide</I>'s <A class="link" HREF="http://www.tvguide.com/News/Mega-CSI-Lost-1000705.aspx">Mega Buzz</a>, <I>New York</I> executive producer <font color=yellow>Peter Lenkov</font> said the show has a lot in store for its characters, including Mac and Stella Bonasera (<font color=yellow>Melina Kanakaredes</font>). Lenkov promised "more intense character drama, as well as our trademark 'only in New York' stories. We'll continue Stella's pursuit of the man who tried to kill her and introduce a new nemesis for Mac, a media mogul played by <font color=yellow>Craig T. Nelson</font>." Lenkov also said <I>CSI: NY</I> will "revisit" the chemistry between fellow detectives Don Flack (<font color=yellow>Eddie Cahill</font>) and Jessica Angell (<font color=yellow>Emmanuelle Vaugier</font>), but he wasn't so sure about possible sparks between Stella and lab geek Adam Ross (<font color=yellow>AJ Buckley</font>). Lenkov said the two "play nice together", but he's "not sure there's a romance there."<p><li> In casting scoop for <I>New York</I>, <I>Dancing with the Stars</I> professional <font color=yellow>Edyta Sliwinska</font> will guest-star in an upcoming episode. "I'm playing a dance teacher and I'm one of the suspects," she told <A class="link" HREF="http://www.accesshollywood.com/dish-of-salt-dancing-star-steps-into-csi-new-york_article_12561">Access Hollywood</a>. "I am suspected to be a murderer to kill a guy and chop him into pieces."</ul><center></center>
