<ul><li> <I>Letters to a Young Sister: DeFINE Your Destiny</I>, the second book from <I>New York</I> star <font color=yellow>Hill Harper</font> (Dr Sheldon Hawkes), was released on June 3 and debuted in the number five spot in the Hardcover Advice section of the <A class="link" HREF="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/22/books/bestseller/0622besthardadvice.html">New York Times best-seller</a> list published June 22. The list referenced the week ending with June 7. <I>Letters</I> did not appear on the list for the <A class="link" HREF="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/29/books/bestseller/0629besthardadvice.html">following week</a>.<p><li> The top 10 finalists in the drama category for the <I>60th Primetime Emmy Awards</I> were revealed. "The movie is more of a comedy, a tip of the hat to Burt Reynolds," Keith said in a news conference. "I wanted it be <I>48 Hours</I> meets <I>Smoky and the Bandit</I>." The story centers around a deputy sheriff from Oklahoma who goes up against a Mexican drug lord and deals with romantic highs and lows. Some of the other crime shows have added labs and are doing more forensics, and there have been all kinds of knockoffs watering down the market, but we've held true. You need to evolve, but you don't need to evolve defensively. That's a shame about none of the shows actually being nominated for an Emmy. I think that Carmine, Eddie and Melina's performances were just awesome this season. Oh, well.

As far as I know, that was just the selection for Drama Series, not for the individual actors, or guest actors. The actors still have a chance. :)
