[*]CSI: Miami had a great run on Monday, as it was declared the most watched show of the night, according to the Futon Critic. "Prey" was watched by 18.67 million viewers and was first in adults 25-54. Miami's ratings went up 7 percent from its previous week.

[*]Meanwhile, CSI: New York's "Grand Murder at Central Station" did fairly well in the ratings battle last night, attracting 14.18 million viewers and beating Law and Order and Invasion during the 10 p.m. timeslot. The show was also first in adults 25-54, but fell behind on adults 18-24 by -0.2 (ABC came in first). A full ratings report will be available by the end of the week.

[*]Wil Wheaton, who played Walter in the CSI episode "Compulsion," recently revealed how positive his experience on the set of CSI was and how well the cast gets along. "There is that thing about chemistry. It happens in sports too, it's like a symbiotic thing that happens... everything fires at exactly the right time."

[*]Eva LaRue (Natalia Boa Vista) is back from the dead, or so she announced in her latest message at her official website. The actress told her fans about her house troubles and why her Miami character isn't seen on screen much: apparently the writers are trying to ease her in slowly.

[*]The CSI: Official DVD Collection is getting ready to release issue number 22. With Warrick Brown on the cover, the edition will include a look into lab kits, a closer look at corpse analysis, and crime scene investigation in the desert. Previous issues are available for purchase at the website.

[*]Vanessa Ferlito (Aiden Burn) is departed but not unloved, a fan recently created a new website in her honor.

[*]The Eddie Cahill (Det. Don Flack) dedicated website Eddie Cahill Online has been updated with images of the actor's appearance in the movie Lords of Dogtown. They have also added a promotional image of Cahill as Detective Flack and a few behind the scenes shots of New York.

[*]DavidCarusoFans.com has been updated with screen caps of David Caruso (Horatio Caine) in his starring role on Michael Hayes.

[*]USA Weekend recently ran a succinct biography of Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) for a fan who wanted to know more about the actress. You can read the blurb over at Jorja Fox Online.

[*]Next week, Anna Belknap (Lindsay Monroe) will join the cast of CSI: New York. If you'd like to see screen caps of the actress in some of her previous roles, including one alongside Hill Harper (Sheldon Hawkes), head over to Past My Shoulder.

[*] Martin St. Louis is one of the best hockey players on earth, but on Monday nights you're more likely to find him watching CSI: Miami than on the ice. St. Louis told the Tampa Bay he gets a kick out of watching the show. "I would take the guy from CSI: Miami. The red-headed guy. I get a good laugh out of him. Everything is dramatic, you know? He always pauses when somebody asks a question. There's always a pause, and he comes back with his deep voice."

[*]Jael McHenry, from Intrepid Media, recently compiled a list of the Best and Worst Television Names. On it, she describes the name "Horatio Caine" as, "Ew. Just, ew." And to follow on the same trend, TV Squad added "Calleigh Duquesne" to their list of worst television names, and is asking fans to pick their favorite and least favorite monikers.

[*]If you live in France, the CSI season finale "Grave Danger" will be available for purchase soon, according to CSI: Forum. The DVD will hit the stores November 9th.

[*]And the Region 2 "Grave Danger" DVD was recently reviewed by DVD Times. According to the website, "both episodes are transferred anamorphically at a ratio of 1.78:1 and demonstrate nothing discernible in the way of damage. The colours are strong, especially the blacks – seemingly a favourite of CSI’s directors of photography – and the clarity equally fine. Indeed, the overall quality is easily the equal of its original broadcasts, if not better."

[*]Sofia Milos (Yelina Salas) will be one of the many artists who will attend the 6th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. The ceremony will take place on November 3rd in Los Angeles, California. The Latin Grammys honors Spanish and Portuguese speaking recording artists, musicians, songwriters, and producers for their work in the music industry.

[*]It's not just real life crime scene investigators who have a problem with CSI's fast pace, but coroners, too. Dr. Scott Jenkinson, a real life coroner, recently told the The Post Online sometimes it can take up to two months to perform an autopsy and get its results. "CSI is a fabulous show," Jenkinson said, "but what is misleading is the length of time necessary and the expense."[/list]
