<ul>[*]The syndicated entertainment magazine The Insider last week aired a brief behind-the-scenes segment on CSI's "Committed," during which <Font color=yellow>Jorja Fox</font> (Sara Sidle) commented on the episode's mental hospital setting. "It's a very dark world and creepy in a horror movie kind of way. [...] There's a little violence there. And that was fun to do too, and scary!"
[*]The Los Angeles Times reports that Californian radio personality <font color=yellow>Petros Papadakis</font> has been cast in the role of a New York sports talk-show host for the CSI: New York episode "The Closer."
[*]Australian TV writer <font color=yellow>Melinda Houston</font> questioned the celebrity value of <font color=yellow>Adam Rodriguez</font> (Eric Delko) and the many homegrown Australian stars who attended Down Under's Logie Awards, in an article in the Age.
[*]Even if wasn't glamourous enough for The Age, at least Rodriguez was dressed well - the Herald Sun reported he was dressed by Australian fashion label Calibre, as was tennis player <font color=yellow>Lleyton Hewitt</font>.
[*]And again according to the Herald Sun, seventy percent of Australian television viewers would not let their children watch shows like CSI.

[*]The various "CSI Effects" were in full force this week: the Arkansas-based Morning News, Virginia's WVEC, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Abilene-based Optimist all reported on the many people signing up for forensics-themed courses following the success of CSI; the Washington Times cautioned that CSI isn't like real-life police work; a Terre Haute TV station reported on the local police squad getting more like CSI; and finally the Naples News wrote about juries' ever-increasing demands for more forensic evidence.
