Musicians flex their acting chops.<p>The 100th episode of <I>CSI: New York</I>, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season5/my_name_is_mac_taylor.shtml">"My Name is Mac Taylor"</a>, featured appearances from <font color=yellow>Nelly</font> and <font color=yellow>Chris Daughtry</font>. These two men were not the first musicians to try their hand at acting on <I>New York</I>. In the past, the show has welcomed such names as <font color=yellow>Nelly Furtado</font> (<A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season3/some_buried_bones.shtml">"Some Buried Bones"</a>) and <font color=yellow>Alison Sudol</font> from A Fine Frenzy (<A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/can_you_hear_me_now.shtml">"Can You Hear Me Now?"</a>), and the most recent episode, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season5/help.shtml">"Help"</a>, included <font color=yellow>Alex Band</font> from The Calling.<p><I>CSI: NY</I> will add two more musical names to their list of guest stars with the upcoming appearance of <font color=yellow>Pete Wentz</font> and <font color=yellow>Ashlee Simpson-Wentz</font>. The real-life couple will appear in the episode airing March 18. Wentz and Simpson-Wentz's characters are tentatively named Chester Byron and Lia Wickfield, and they are a "Bonnie and Clyde" type of couple.<p>Simpson-Wentz began filming on Friday, January 16, and Wentz was expected to begin this week. This is not the first acting gig for either musician.
