New E-mail Virus, IMPORTANT

Hey all. Just got an email today about this and thought it was very important to share it with you all.

A new virus has been circulating that will steal your name, e-mail and password. If you recieve an email with a powerpoint presentation tiled 'Life is Beautiful,' DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPEN IT NO MATTER WHAT.

Please tell all your friends about this, because we all hate viruses. Hope this might save someone from the pain and extreme inconvenience of a computer virus. :)

I also hope this was the right place to post this. :D
 
cainesugar, you might want to tell the person who sent you that email the following facts:

1- According to McAfee, the manufacturer of anti-virus software, it is NOT new. The first warnings about it was January 15, 2002.

2- This is a HOAX. They do not know of any damage from this email.

From Symantec.com, another anti-virus manufacturer: This hoax was first circulated in Portuguese. English, French, Italian and German versions have also been recorded.

They recommend that we ignore or delete this email and do not forward it to others. But, as with any attachments from people you do not know, DO NOT OPEN THEM.
