CSI Files
Captain
When CSI: New York premieres this fall, look for two new characters in the line-up: Detective Don Flack and Dr. Erin Fahey.
According to CSI Files sources, Detective Flack will be a hard-edged New York City cop. An imposing, handsome man in his mid-thirties, Flack is tough on suspects and dogged when pursuing a case. Described as chiseled with blue eyes, Flack is collected and cool but intense.
Dr. Erin Fahey is the therapist Mac Taylor (<font color=yellow>Gary Sinise</font>) has been seeing to cope with the death of his wife, who perished in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center towers. Fahey is a cool, collected woman in her mid-thirties who is trying to get Mac to open up to her. The detective, who holds his feelings in, is reluctant to share his innermost thoughts with a therapist. He has been avoiding going to her office for six months, but a visit to Ground Zero brings him back.
Neither role has been cast as of press time. Though early reports suggested that Flack might appear in CSI: Miami's introduction to CSI: New York, "MIA/NYC--NonStop", it now seems his character will make his first appearance in one of the first episodes of New York's fall season.
Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from an early draft of the script and many details, such as character names, may change before the episode goes to air.
