The creator of CSI plans to share the details of his rise to success.
Anthony Zuiker signed a deal with Collins, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, to write his memoirs. The book is due to be released in the fall of 2009. With the tentative title Mr CSI, Zuiker's book will tell the story of how he became a big name in Hollywood.
According to Collins, Mr CSI will include information about Zuiker's journey from bellhop in Las Vegas to creator of the hit CSI franchise. Zuiker will also talk about his gangster father. "Most shocking is Zuiker's recollection of his father's suicide in Las Vegas, which happened the night he was on stage at the People's Choice Awards collecting his fourth statue for CSI," said the publisher. "In a scene that could have been pulled from the show, Zuiker flew right to the scene and attempted to piece together his father's last hours."
"My life has certainly been one of extremes," Zuiker said in a statement. From personal tragedy to professional success, Zuiker said these extremes "show that what may seem like bad luck or an accident of good fortune are in reality due to basic rules all of us can follow when making the decisions that affect our life and work."
The original article is from CTV.
