Despite a slight drop in numbers from the week before, CSI: Miami won its time slot and became the highest-rated show in the overnights this Monday.
According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Grand Prix" earned a 14.2 rating/21 share. This means that last night, approximately 14.2\% of households in overnight markets with television sets were tuned to this week's episode, "Grand Prix", and 21\% of households watching television at the time had CSI: Miami onscreen. Last week, "Hurricane Anthony" earned a 15.3/22.
The Monday Night Football matchup of the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers had slightly higher overnight ratings than last week's game, earning a 12.9/18 in primetime.
However, CBS won the night on the combined strength of the ratings for CSI: Miami, Yes, Dear, Still Standing, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Two and a Half Men, all of which won their timeslots except the latter. Ratings were down on all six networks from the year before.
