CSI Files

Captain
A familiar face returns to sunny Florida.
In this week's episode of CSI: Miami, "Smoke Gets In Your CSIs", Khandi Alexander (Dr Alexx Woods) returns to her old stomping grounds when Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter) is caught in a burning house. "Calleigh has found herself in a medical crisis," Alexander explained to Entertainment Tonight. "Fortunately, I'm there to help."
"She suffered from smoke inhalation that happened on a crime scene," the actress continued. "I work in an ER, so I'm not certain at this point whether she's going to live or die. I just need to get her into the ER, on a bed, and find out what her status is--if I can stabilize her, if I'll lose her. So it's just completely focused on saving her life."
Alexander's former costars are glad to see her again. "What a great gift to us," gushed leading man David Caruso (Horatio Caine). Procter explained that she and Alexander were close when they worked together on Miami. "She and I had such a bond because for a long time, she and I were the only girls," Procter shared, adding, "I see her and I just really, really, really miss her." Alexander is also glad to be back on the Miami set. "This is my extended family," she said. "To come back and see everyone on the crew and production--it's just great."
The original information is from ET Online.
