CSI: Miami won the Monday evening overnight ratings and — unlike on the night of Miami's sister-show last week — CBS managed to remain on top.
"Slaughterhouse" averaged a 8.8/14 rating, according to figures published at Zap2it. This means approximately 8.8\% of American households with television sets were tuned into the show, while the episode was viewed by 14\% of households watching television at the time. These figures come from overnight ratings based on the top markets, and final ratings will be available next week.
This compares to 11.5/18 for the last all-new episode, "Grave Young Men", a weeks ago. With these figures, Miami managed to retain its #1 position in the 10pm slot, beating Crossing Jordan which gave NBC 7.0/11.
For the evening CBS came first with a 8.6/13 score, ahead of Fox on 7.8/12, the WB which comandered third place on 6.5/9, NBC on 6.3/10, ABC on 5.3/8 and UPN way behind on 2.6/4.
