Crossover Thread 1

Hello readers, welcome to the Continuing Crossover stories.

After the kids recieved the message, they all headed down.

"Dad!!! yelled Marisol in tears, please tell me it's not true"?

"Dad"!!!! yelled HJr and Claire, this is a mistake right, tell us"?

"Listen, I'm not sure of anything yet, we have to wait for Alex, she's on her way in".

"God! "Come on dad, said HJr crying, I can't have lost my brother".

Poor Claire, was so distrought, that she passed out in HJr's arms,

"Bring her up to my office HJr, than come back down, Marisol, you stay with her".

At that moment Calleigh ran in, "What's going on Handsome"? "This doesn't seem right".

"I know love, Alexx is on her way in with the body's".

"Well, why can't she tell you, she know's what they look like".

"They are chared Calleigh, unfortunetly we will have to use dental records".

As "H" took Calleigh into his arms, Alexx pulled in with the body's.

"Calleigh, you, Stella and the kids stay here". Mac and I will check this out".



Meanwhile.....

"Wake up Eric, please, come on".

"Mmm!! "My head is killing me". "What the hell happened"? said Eric shivering.

"Macster took his jacket and covered up Eric". "Just relax Eric, we were robbed and thrown down this cliff". "I may have to go for help, they took everything we had".

"Please, don't leave me Macster". "I'm freezing, help me please".

Macster knew if he didn't get Eric warm soon, he would die. Picking him up and carrying him fireman style, he started to walk.

"Don't worry Eric, I'll never leave you man". "Just hang on".

Good they're alive...now get them help. At least the records will clear up that it's not them.

Meanwhile.....



Horatio and Mac, headed down to see Alexx.

"Well Alexx, said "H". "Have you checked my son's dental records yet".

"I have "H", you and Mac can relax, these boy's are not your son's".

"H" and Mac broke down in tears.

"Oh thank God", said Mac, " I thought for sure".

"I hear you Mac", said "H" crying.

"As good as that is, your boy's are still missing, and you have no idea, where these clowns came from", said Alexx.

Mac and "H" looked at each other, with tears still in their eyes.

"What are we going to do"? asked Mac.

"I think, first we should put out a broadcast for the boy's, and hope we get a response from someone".

Once they left the morgue, they went and informed the family, that it wasn't their boys.





Meanwhile......




Macster was wearing down, he knew he couldn't go much further, without collapsing. Laying Eric on the ground, he opened the jacket, and laid on top of Eric. Macster was very concerned, as Eric hadn't moved since the hike uphill.

"I'm sorry I have to lay on you like this, but if I don't you will freeze".

Macster looked at the gash, above Eric's tempo and frowned.

"Don't you dare die on me Eric, do you hear me"? "ERIC"!!! yelled Macster.

No matter how much he tried for a response, he didn't get one. Knowing he had no choice, he started screaming........."HELP!!!!HELP!!!!!HELP!!!! over and over.

He must have yelled for hours and still got no response. Macster could see the daylight fading, knowing they had no protection against animals, he picked Eric up again, and continued walking.



Meanwhile....



Calleigh and Stella, seen Mac and "H" come up with tears in their eyes.

"No"!! "Oh no, please Mac, not our baby", cried Stella.

"Shhh!! it's okay love, it wasn't our boy's, we don't know who they are, or what they've done, with Eric and Macster".

"I'll be back Mac, I'm going to get the team started on this, and then I'm going to have Ryan go see Erica, she'll help us broadcast our boys".

"Please God, let them be okay", cried Calleigh.

Meanwhile....

The night air, was chilled, and Eric still had not awaken. Macster, covered the two of them, with his heat and coat.

"Please Lord, let someone find us, before morning".

Macster could feel himself going numb, and getting sleepy, and as he passed out on the cold ground, he dreamed of home.



Meanwhile......

"H" recieved a call from the Hotline they had set up. Two boys matching that description, were last seen driving along the Colorado Rockies.

"Let's go Mac, we have a possible location".

"Where "H", asked Mac.

"Colorado, a couple seen two young boys, driving through, they stopped to get gas".

"How long ago"?

"At least a day", maybe more".

"What the hell are they doing driving, I thought they were walking".

"How should I know Mac, maybe they weren't getting there fast enough, so they decided to drive".

After informing the family, "H", Mac, Eric , HJr and Brad, all headed to Colorado.



Meanwhile.....

Both boy's were in full hypothermia.

"Hey Max"! "Where did those people say they seen those kids.

"Somewhere along the trails, just keep looking Deputy, if they're hear, we will find them".

"Listen, I'm freezing my ass off". "How hard can it be, to find two boys"?

"Depends, if they fell off the trails, could take all night and then some".

"What time are those Miami Officers arriving"?

"They're supposed to meet up with us , at the Ranger's Station".

As they got to the Station, the Sheriff and the Deputy were frozen.

"Christ it's cold out there Fred", said Sheriff Ralph.

"Sheriff, this is Lt.Caine, Det.Taylor, CSI Delko, CSI HJr and Brad".

"Nice to meet you, I wish it was on better terms".

"Have you found our boys"?

"Not yet, we have search parties out already". "Please try and be patient".

"Listen, I'm not a patient guy, give me a flashlight, and a radio and we'll all help look", said "H".

After setting them up, they all headed out to find the boys.

Meanwhile....



The Taylor/Caine clan, decided to spend the night at Calleigh's.

"How long has been now"? asked Marisol.

"Not to long love, about four hours, give or take".

"If they're in the Rockies, how are they going to survive"? "Besides that, I thought they were walking"?

"Your dad thinks, they may have gotten tired, and rented a car".

"This is crazy mom, I can't just sit here", said Marisol.

"Listen sweetheart, you need to relax, why don't you have a nice cup of tea"?

"I don't want no damn tea, I just want my brother and Macster home".



Meanwhile.....

Horatio, Mac , Eric and Brad, had seperated into two groups.

"You and Brad, take the North", said Mac. "Your dad and I, will take the South".

After they seperated, Mac and "H", climbed down the trail, towards the steep incline.

"Oh come now Mac, you don't think they fell off there, do you"?

"No, but look down".

As "H" looked down, he could see blood drops.

"Do you think it's them"? asked "H".

"I don't know, let's follow it and find out"?

As they followed the broken trail, "H" tripped on something, looking down, he seen the boys.

"Christ Mac, here they are", yelled "H".

Bending down to check them, "H" noticed Eric had no pulse.

"Call that damn Sheriff, have him get his ass over here, with the Paramedics".

"H" started CPR on Eric, while Mac checked on Macster.

"Dad"? "Is that you, or am I dreaming"?

"It's me son, just hang on okay"?

"I will dad", said Macster, as he started falling asleep.

"Come on Eric breath, damn it".

After three sets of chest compressions, Eric still no pulse.

"Come on, where is the damn ambulance"?

Just as "H" had finished the forth set, the Paramedic's showed up.

"Listen , he's not breathing, I'm not sure how long, we just found them".

After loading Macster into the Ambulance, they worked on Eric.

"This isn't good Mac". "It's been almost 10 minutes".

"Just relax "H", it will be okay".




Meanwhile.....

Eric called Calleigh, to let her know, they had found the boys.

"Thank God", "How are they Eric"? "ERIC"!!!

"Listen Calleigh, Macster is going to be fine".

"What about Eric"? asked Calleigh in tears.

"It's not good, they've been trying to revive him, for almost 10 minutes now".

"Are you telling me he's dead"? "Tell me the truth Eric".

"As far as we can see, he didn't make it". "I'll call you back later Calleigh, try and relax".

"How are they, asked Stella.

"Macster is going to be fine, just a little hypothermia". "But Eric........

"Mom, what about Eric"? asked Marisol.

Looking into her mother's eyes, she already knew he was gone.

Meanwhile....



Still having no success in reviving Eric, they were unwilling to give up. So they Airlifted him and "H" to the closet Hospital. Once there, the Trama team, worked like crazy to revive him.



Meanwhile.......

Mac, Eric, Brad were helping Macster warm up in the Ranger Station.

"Dad, shivered Macster. "Is Eric going to be alright"?

"I don't know son, we just have to pray, that he is".

At that moment the Sheriff walked in.

"If you'd like to come with me, we'll drop you all off at the Hospital".

As they headed out, Macster thought to himself......"If he dies, it's my fault, I was the one who told him, to pick up the guys".

"What's the matter son, you look unsettled"?

"Nothing dad, just cold".

Mac told Macster into his arms ,and held him tightly, until the shivers stopped.




Meanwhile....

Claire came downstairs, still a little unsteady.

"How you feeling sweetheart"? asked Stella.

"Okay mom, where is HJr and daddy"?

"They went to bring home Macster, love".

"What about Eric". "Isn't he coming home"?

Everyone looked at each other.

"We don't think so Claire, from what we heard from "H", Eric didn't make it".

"Aww, please tell me this is all a dream mom, poor Eric". "I'm so sorry Auntie".




Meanwhile....

Mac and the rest of the family, had arrived at the Hospital.

"Dad, have you heard anything yet"?

"Not yet son, I'm still waiting".

When HJr looked at his dad, he could see how worn he was.

"He's going to be okay dad, we can't give up".

"H" looked over at Macster.

"What happened out there son"?

Macster was terrified, he wasn't sure what to say. He knew if he told, he'd be in repremanded. But if he didn't tell, he'd have to live with guilt forever.

"It was my fault Uncle "H". "I told Eric to pick up these two young guys who were looking for a ride, into the next town". "They seemed okay, they were students like us". "But as we got half way to the next town, they threw us out of the car". "I managed to stop myself from falling over the edge, but Eric couldn't brace himself and went over".

Mac looked shocked and ashamed all at the same time. He had made the boys promise, not to hang around with strangers.

"I know that look dad, and I'm very sorry". "You don't need to make me feel anymore guilty, then I already do".

"Lt.Caine"?

"Yes doctor, I'm Lt.Caine".

"I'm sorry, we did everything we could, your son, didn't make it". "I'm very sorry".

Mac, Macster and HJr, all stood in shock.

"Dad"? said Brad.

Walking over Brad could see the tears, streaming down, "H"s face. Grabbing him in a vice like grip, he held him tightly.

"It can't be true, he's so young, this has to be a dream", cried HJr.

As Macster watched in horror, he took off out of the Hospital.

"Macster"!!! yelled Mac, get back here son".

HJr took off after Macster, and grabbed him before he got out the door.

"Let me go Horatio, this is my fault, I killed your brother, let me go, I hate myself for what I've done", screamed Macster.

Not letting him go, Hjr finally broke him. Sitting on the ground, with Macster in his arms, they both cried.

*Crying* "It's not your fault Macster, you can't blame yourself for this".

"I'll forever blame myself, for the rest of my life, I'll be known by everyone, as the one who killed your brother".

"That's not true Macster, that would never be true, shhhh!!!! Come on Macster, we are all going to hurt for a long time".

After Mac took his son from HJr, they collected Eric's body, and headed home.



Meanwhile....

"I still can't believe he's gone mom, this can't really be true", cried Marisol.

"I know love, Shhh!! this can't be good for the baby, calm down Mari".

"Stop telling me to calm down, how could this have happened, they know better than to pick up hitchhikers". "God, I don't get it mom, why Eric"?

"I really don't know love, but we need to pull together, your dad is going to need us all".

At that moment Destinee came in with Cody from the movies.

"Mama, I'm home". "Where is everyone"? yelled Destinee.

When she walked in to the room, she said, "Mama, why is everyone crying"?

"Come here Desti, said Marisol. "Listen, remember Eric went on a trip with Macster".

"Yeah!!! "Why is they home"?

"No, sweetheart, Eric won't be coming home to us".

"Why not, he lives here, with us".

"I know that sweetheart, but God needs him now, so he's going to stay with him".

"But the teacher says, God only takes Angels".

"I know that love, and that is what your brother will become".

"But he's not dead silly, only dead people can be Angels".

"I know sweetie, your brother was in a accident, like I was, but he didn't come back like I did, which is why he's an Angel".

"So he's never coming home"? cried Desti.

"No sweetheart, he's never coming home".

Just at that moment "H", Mac, Macster, HJr, Brad and Eric walked in.

"Macster" , yelled Stella. "Oh God, your safe".

Calleigh looked over at "H" with tears, and without a word, he walked over and took her in his arms. *Sob, cry*cry**
"I want to see him handsome, I need to see my baby".

"Okay love, let's go, he's with Alexx". "Marisol, you and Brad stay with Cody and Destinee".

"Okay dad", said Marisol in tears.

Once they left, Marisol got Cody and Desti settled down.
