CSI: Miami will make its long-awaited debut on cable television next month.

The A&E Network is set to begin showing repeats of the series from October 10, according to the network's official web site. The premiere episode, "Golden Parachute", will air at 11:00 p.m., with subsequent episodes to follow every Sunday at the same time.

One episode of CSI: Miami will air each week out of prime-time until fall 2005, under the terms of the rerun rights agreement signed by A&E in 2003 (story). The cable network has reportedly paid $100,00 - $150,00 per episode to secure the syndication rights, with the pricetag rising to a report $1 million an episode by fall 2006.

The off-network rerun rights to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation were sold to Spike TV, previously known as TNN, in 2002. The cable network, which reportedly dished out $1.6 million an episode to secure the series, is currently airing CSI episodes between 7-9 p.m. on Mondays through to Thursdays, and between 7-11 p.m. on Friday evenings.
