That hasn't been announced on where the locations are yet, but I lived in Vegas for nearly 4 years, and went to 3 places where they we're shooting, they gave bogus info. about where they really were I hung out for 6 hours at the MGM Grand when they were on location filming "BTK' only to find out the next day, they were downtown at the Fremont Street Expierence, and your can't get near them anyway, security is really tight, but good luck to you! my only claim to anything is a security guard downtown when they filmed "Killer" saw Jorja, sipping coffee, but there's tape and guards all around the set! another friend of mine her two firends were downtown some years back, [and there's tape all around with guards], they caught a glimpse of Cath and George from a distance, coming out of their little trailer, that's it, I've never heard of anyone who saw WP!
Desertwind is right, you usually have to know somebody or know somebody that knows somebody, not to sound cliche on the inside to get on a set such as that. I got on the set of Third Watch, but that's only because we were able to set something up in advance a few months prior and knew somebody that then gave us a tour guide. When we first got there we had to do the name drop becuase at first it was the "road closed you have to either take.." and that will be the same like desertwind explained.
So good luck and have fun in Vegas. I'm going in July and I already can't wait. Mom already told me not to bring home a CSI guy but hey I might get lucky you never know it is Vegas afterall
I figured that would be the issue, but anyone can hope...
My big thing is that I want to meet Marg so friggin bad! And I know she said that if she gets a chance to she likes to bring Alan and Hugh (*dies*) out and make a mini vacation out of it when their not shooting scenes that she doesn't need to be there for...so I'm hoping that if we're out there when their there that might be the case. Cause if I met Marg and Hugh I'd.... or maybe the other way around...
I know how you feel, and on her Marg, while I was scurring around questioning everyone, at the MGM Grand, "have you seen any of the CSI stars"? a change girl told me that on Sunday, [I was there on Monday] she saw Marg and her hubby walking through the casino, she said "she was so thin and so beautiful", and I go did you see Billy Petersen? she goes "nope, I wished" and I go, "do you know where their staying" and she goes "no, but were not allowed to divulge that information" I had my camera and little note book pad ready for his autograph and a picture with him [didn't happen] and wanted to tell him "how great I thought he was yada-yada-yada, ~fantasy land again~ after about two hours I was thnking, that if the eye in the sky was watching me, they were going "what's that woman doing, questioning all the employees" it probably looked suspicious:evil:I was so devastated by not ever seeing them it was a bitter disapointmentthey were filming at the Cirque de Soliel and after a while the doors were open, and I went in and go "is this where the CSI stars are filming" and the guy at the door goes "this is a "Star Wars" conference, do you want to sign up? I go "no thank you? and walked off mumbling to my self:klingon:
In 2004 I got to meet William Petersen, Jorja Fox, Deran Sarafian (director) and Josh Berman (writer) on the set of "Turn of the Screws." My cousin had been there the day before telling security how big of a fan I was, and told him I was coming the following day. When I came the next day, I got to meet Billy and Jorja and Deran (who is working on House now) as well as Josh, and then took pictures. They also allowed me to go on the main set they were shooting on (they were off-location though from the lab set) and they allowed me to watch them film for a bit.
It was amazing. It's so different seeing them film in person, to see what you seen on screen.
Here's pics of Me with Billy and Jorja:
I have a few more pix of me and Billy. I don't know why I have such an awkward face with Jorja.
AWE! That is so awesome! And you brought your CSI book to be signed! *giggle* I got mine signed by the guy that writes them, he lives just a few minutes away from here.
I've lived in Vegas almost my whole life, I've never seen any thing of them filming or any of the stars. After hearing about someone who was lucky enough to meet Wallace Langham in a casino, I've always kept an eye out, but I still haven't seen anyone.
