I'm confused about the end. How could they not have enough evidence to prosecute the guy who allegedly killed his wife? They have the odd behavior with the insurance, car and the girl, the fact about the towel bar and the handprint shaped bruising...they couldn't get prints at that date but couldn't they match it to the size of his hand at least. Plus, no one else was in the house at the time.

I did notice one factoid about the fall experiment...when someone falls and grabs something, don't they exert a bit more force than their actual weight? Because things that are falling always hit so much harder due to their speed; somehow it causes more force to be exerted, I'm not totally sure how though.

I have to agree with you. They should do that but it not enough evidence for the lawyer, they need more. But one thing, the husband lost all the money because the insurance want their money back, so they believe CSI's evidence.

i think they could prove the wife was murdered (with the bruising on her face and all) but other than the fact the husband is a lefty there was no evidence to link him to it. they were going to continue the investigation so we can only assume what might have happened. sometimes it would be nice to know what happened on all the cases that didnt wrap up by the end of the episode i tell ya

 Yeah LV has had one in here for awhile, "I have an Ep/Character question" and "Script Mistakes?" ;)

Okay since you seem to be satisfied with the answers, I will go ahead and lock this and if you want to further discuss it there are the two other threads. :)
