CSI Files
Captain
February sweeps is over, and as usual, reviewers around the internet have a wide range of takes on CSI's last two episodes, "King Baby" and "Big Middle". Here are their takes.
[*]"King Baby" may have been a ratings success, but Sobell, of Television Without Pity, thought the episode was only worthy of a D. You can read her snarky report here.
[*]TV Tome's Ki's Empire, however, found the episode much more refreshing:

"King Baby has been called by some CSI fans online, "the best of the season so far", while I disagree with this statement I will say it was an intriguing, solid episode, with a good plot and also some good moments for our characters."

Ki's Empire gave the episode a B. You can read her review here.
[*]TV Guide's Rochell Thomas may have been laughing too hard to pay much attention to King Baby":

"I thought the Plushies conference was weird, but now I have seen everything. When Grissom popped open the secret door to that Wacko Jacko, playroom I was with Warrick, who said, "Get outta here." And when the clerk at the crazier-than-thou Forever Baby store asked Grissom, "Are you a drinker or a stinker?" it was all over. I rolled. Literally. I can barely type it without laughing. I mean, somebody please tell me there is no land of Baby Hueys where adult men live like infants. 'Cause I can't handle that. I can't."

Read Thomas's review at TV Guide's The Watercooler.
[*]Ki's Empire wasn't expecting to like "Big Middle", but was pleasantly surprised by the way the writers handled the overweight issue. You can read her review of the episode at TV Tome.
[*]The Watercooler's Rochell Thomas wasn't happy with the stereotypes presented in "Big Middle", but she's happy overweight actresses got the chance to work. Read her review of the episode at TV Guide.
[*]Sobell found "Big Middle" was better than "King Baby", but was weary about the overweight issue. She gave the episode a C+. Read her review at Television Without Pity.
