CSI Files
Captain
Kim Delaney (Megan Donner) has signed up to film the sequel of 10.5.
The NBC mini-series dealt with a 10.5 magnitude earthquake that destroyed the west coast of the US and Canada. 10.5 managed to draw in more than 20 million viewers over its two week run. The sequel, 10.5: Apocalypse, will pick up where the first part left of, and promises to bring more even tectonic chaos. Delaney will reprise her role as Dr. Samantha Hill. Actors Beau Bridges and David Cubitt will also reprise their respective roles.
"We are shooting this sequel on digital, which is allowing us to achieve a whole new level of visual effects and style that have heretofore not been seen on network television," said writer/director John Lafia. "Also, the actors flocking to the project is very rewarding to me personally and shows their faith in the material."
Since her departure from CSI: Miami, Delaney has been hitting the guest starring circuit, with appearances on her alma mater, NYPD Blue, and The OC. The actress also starred in the television movie Infidelity.
