Detective Kiale Maka she just disapeared into thin air poof and she was gone what has happened to her one minuate she was there the next I knew they'd written her out.
She wasn't technically written "in"; she was just a guest star. Kelly Hu, Maka's portrayer, is in a new ABC show so that might be why she hasn't guested for a while.
I miss her. She was awesome--a tough smart character, and Kelly Hu just rocks. I hope she comes back at some point, but as others have mentioned Kelly is a regular on a new show now (a mid-season replacement, IIRC).

Damn, how did I miss it? Did anyone see it? I'm curious as to whether it's any or good or not. It does have a great cast.
The only part I saw was when Kelly's character is working in a 'massage parlor' or something (think the 'deep tissue massage' in "Tanglewood"). And the guy she's 'massaging' recognizes her from high school (not concentrating, dude?). I might not have that all right, though...
