If you were a MAIN CAST MEMBER, which role would you choose?

    If you were a main cast member on one of the CSI shows, which role would you choose? (This refers to a recurring role over one or more seasons.)

    Please note that none of these choices specify being a love interest for one of the characters. Please confine that discussion to this thread.

    Also, please keep fanfic discussion in the fanfic forum. If you're writing a story where you include yourself as a character, that's great, but let's try to keep that out of this thread.

    So, let's say that you've just been hired for a recurring role on one of the CSI shows. What role did you get? (Please note that I've only included the basic types of roles. Choose 'other' if you would like a recurring role that is different.)

    Since my memory is pretty bad, I would not be able to handle too many lines. That is why I would prefer to have a small role as a labrat on ANY of the shows. I could handle some of the technical jargon.

    I'd like to play a new character who's maybe new to being a CSI. I'd get to interact with everyone then. I cuoldn't dream of replacing a character.

    I'd like to play a CSI from another shift--one of the COMPETANT ONES from that other shift that is, since in Vegas they're always saying the Day shift is incompetant while in Miami they're always saying the Night shift is incompetant. I wanna be a competant CSI that's been brough in to help fix the problems with the offending shift, and who's on the good side of the main cast whose shift is the focal point of the stories.

    Well, again, it doesn't matter which show, because I love them all :D They all have such great casts, I'd want to join as a new character. Nobody should leave.
    I chose to play a detective. While I'd really love to play any part, this way I can still be out in the feild but not have to remember techical stuff. Maybe I could even tackle a few suspects :lol:

    I'd play a hott (yeah, as if :rolleyes:) new CSI replacing Natalia in Miami.
    Don't get me wrong, I really like her, but I've never felt her as a part of the 'family'... She was a good lab tech, but I can't see her as a CSI.

    I'd play Gil Grissom's daughter, just because that would be a shock if they even found out that he had one. She would be as smart as Grissom, without the quotes.

    since Fay has given these loverly choices im changing my answer from the other thread :)
    i would like to be hodges, he is the awesomest (yes its a word). his snarky, sarcasticyness (a real word too :p) is much like my own personality. toying with the others and not thinking about what he says before he says it is much like me. so yeah, id be a good hodges :D

    Since there use to be talk of Stella Bonasera having a half sister over on NY that is the role I'd like to play. I always wondered what it would be like to portray a long lost family member of one of the main characters...

    I'd be a new character in any of the shows. I'd be Flack or Ryan's g/f :lol:

    Now serious, I'd be a CSI ballistic tech (or the name the use for that :p) someome like Calleigh, but not replacing her. I'd really like to do something like that :p.

    And I would play a new additional Detective and Aiden Burn's forgotten sister. All in a person.... ;)

    Only over Aiden's senselessly death I would to get over so...
