Does anyone know how to make the Text in icons look so smoothly because whenever i make icons i want to add text but it looks so uneven and it looks so weird like it's not even apart of the icon?

^^ You're using Adobe Photoshop right? Cause I'm not sure if other programs have this feature. Anyways, I'm talking about anti-aliasing:

It greatly improves the quality of the text. Also, it would depend on the font which one would work best. I usually use "Strong" but it really varies. Hope that helps.

Ok it's been a while and i now know how to make the mini movie icons but i am having one problem. I try to tween the text so it would make them apear slowly but it's not working, does any one know how to fix that. Thank you

basically choose your text layer and click the tween button and check position,opacity,effects and all layers..

Can someone post a tutorial for someone who has 0 knowledge of making icons. Because I don't know anything about making them and some of these are confusing.
