i thought that horasios brother was allready dead yet he has just popped up in brazil. last i new he got shot for doin drugs years ago. can someone clear this up 4 me please

I dunno know the whole story, but I know that he wasn't really dead, he basically faked his own death. Then appeared in episode, but I can't remember which episode it is though and then went back to Yelina and Ray Jr and went on vacation and then really died in Brazil.

If anyone can give more details that would be great.

I believe in General CSI, Calihan answered it pretty well, as you asked this query there as well:

Calihan said
He was thought to be killed. But in season three we learn that he was actually deep undercover and the 'killer' was another agent. At the end of season three he reunites with Yelana and leaves for Brazil. In the Brazil episode he dies for real.

^ The episode he appeared in was the season three finale '10-7'.
