Holiday Card Swap 2008

With less than 2 months to the Holiday Seasons I thought it might be nice to swap Holiday Greeting Cards with each other. This has been successfully done in the New York Forum and I thought I would try it here.

So how does this work you ask me :) Easy you pm me your address and once I have the addresses of those who want to do this, I'll send you a pm with everyone addresses. Then it's up to you to send out the cards. There are a couple of rules though. First and foremost when you have sent out the cards you destroy the list, this way peoples privacy is respected. Secondly I need to have the addresses by November 26th. This should give me time to get the addressed out to members by the 30th. That should give everyone time to get the cards out.

Now also beware that since this is going board wide as opposed to just one Forum there could be a lot of members taking part. Don't feel as though you have to send everyone a card and for the recipients don't get mad at someone if they don't send you a card. Times are tough for some people and they may not have the means to send everyone a card. It's suppose to be the thought that counts :)
 
oh goody..christmas time is here! I did this last year with the new yorkers, and it was lots of fun. I ended up getting at least one card a day for a good three weeks.
 
Just one thing I forgot to mention. When you send me your name and address use your real name not your talk.csifiles user name. Thanks to grssom89 for mentioning that :)

I've got the message in my 'location' about the card swap. I'll check with Destiny and TallyHo to see if they mind if I pop into a couple of the Vegas threads to spread the word :) Mean time it is early so let's see what happens :)

eta I'm pleased to hear that you are checking with your parents :)
