CSI Files
Captain
Hill Harper (Dr. Sheldon Hawkes) has landed a guest starring role in the sci-fi series 4400.
"That's going to come on in August, and I play a Rwandan doctor who was abducted right after the genocide," Harper told U Gossip. But don't worry, this won't prevent the actor from missing a single New York beat. "I assume it's just a onetime shot," he added.
4400 is a sci-fi series that sees the abduction of several thousand people from all walkabouts, and even decades, of life. The abductees are all returned to earth at once, and while the FBI tries to figure out how the event will change humanity, the abductees have to figure out how to adjust to normal life after living through such an abnormal experience.
But the show wasn't the only thing that kept Harper busy this summer. After dealing with aliens, the actor will next be seen running away from killer dogs in a new horror flick. "I did a movie down in South Africa called The Breed, " he explained. "It's a horror film [executive-produced by] Wes Craven that stars myself, Michelle Rodriguez, Taryn Manning, Oliver Hudson and Eric Lively. It's about five best friends on an island getting attacked by a breed of killer dogs."
Harper's episode of 4400 will air some time this August on USA. The Breed is tentatively scheduled to be released in 2006. Visit U Gossip to read the original blurbs.
