Friends, New Yorkers, Countrymen (and women), lend me your eyes. It has come to my attention that one of the characters in CSI: NY has been sorely neglected in this forum. While there are umpteen discussions going on about minutiae such as the grooves in Hawkes' scalpel or the way Aiden looks when she gets a new case. But there's one character who just gets no love here. Danny Messer. Sure, he's quieter than the other characters. Always doing his job without complaint, he sometimes fades into the background. He's so soft-spoken; do the other characters even know he's there? Perhaps in NY's second season we'll see some drama surrounding this underused, stoic character. But for now, I've come up with something we can all admire about him. Because let me tell you ladies and gentlemen, there is no better squatter on CSI: NY than Danny Messer. When he crouches down to gather evidence or examine a corpse, he does it with style. His fitted pants are tight around the curves of his perfect ass, following each and every contour. The evidence is in: the man knows how to squat. Please join me in giving this oft-ignored character a little love.

I have often noted the lack of discussion dedicated to Danny Messer, a truly sad reality. He has so much untapped potential; the writers are missing out on the possibility of a great character in the making. Perhaps they could create a story line involving him and the mafia, or he could shoot a cop, etc. I hope that this thread will go a long way towards rectifying his lack of a storyline and screen time, because the man has got an ass on him! It's so terrible, how could we not have noticed this ability in him before. With such skill as this, he should not be as ignored as he is.
I voted yes. This poor character clearly needs some love. Like JDonne says, he needs a good storyline! I have a sneaky suspicion there may be something troubling in his past...perhaps he was beat up once...by a gypsy cab driver maybe??? If so, it should definitely be explored.

Yeah, no one seems to notice him...Top, I'm surprised you even noticed he has a nice, baseball-player ass! I certainly didn't...wait, is he that guy who wears glasses? We barely even see him! Poor thing must feel so neglected and left out, knowing no one ever posts about him here.
He does squat, doesn't he? And as a former baseball player, he knows all about balls. Wow, this degenerated fast. Proof tho.
Very nice pic, Khanada, but I fear it's from the wrong angle! The guy so fades into the background that I fear people in here will only recognize his squatting side! I can just hear people now..."Who is that guy? He's on CSI: NY?" Look at his face, people! Truly, this character deserves a little attention, dontcha think???
I'm working on finding the right angle, but since he's on the show with so little screen time, it's hard to find ANY shot of him. Is it getting deep in here or is it just me?
