First 'New York' Episodes Revealed

CSI Files

Captain
The first few regular episodes of CSI: New York will take full advantage of the spin-off's Big Apple location, according to CSI Files sources.

The second episode scheduled to be filmed, entitled "A Man A Mile", will reportedly revolve around the death of a woman found strangled next to the East River. The river is a major New York feature, running past Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx, and is crossed by the Brooklyn Bridge. The second case featured in "A Man A Mile" involves a man killed in a construction tunnel underneath the city.

Episode three, currently untitled, centres around a young woman named Robin who elects to walk through Central Park instead of taking a taxi because of the heavy traffic. On her way through the New York icon, Robin is assaulted and raped, but survives the ordeal. The CSIs have a suspect, but they can only prove he robbed Robin, not raped her.

"American Dreamers", scheduled to be episode four, will reportedly have one of the most bizarre CSI teasers yet. A young couple from out of town are taking a tour through Times Square on an open-air bus when they ask one of their fellow riders to take a picture of them. But when they approach the man to ask him, it turns out he's a skeleton!

Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from early script drafts and the details and the airing order of the episodes are liable to change before the episodes are shown.

CSI: New York will premiere this fall on CBS.
