CSI Files
Captain
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's fourth season will open with two difficult cases for the Las Vegas crime lab.
Sources today revealed the season premiere, "Homebodies", will revolve around the rape of a teenage girl, Angela Kirkwood. Nick and Sara turn up to the Kirkwood residence with two police officers after a neighbour called 911 to report a home invasion at their house. Angela's father, Michael, denies there was a break-in, and instead claims Angela was throwing an unauthorised party. Everything seems legit - Angela and her motherare cleaning up the mess inside - and the CSIs leave.
As Sara gets into her car and prepares to drive away, she discovers Angela in the back seat, clearly frightened and asking to be taken to the nearest hospital. Angela claims she was raped at the party, and demands an AIDS test and the morning after pill, but won't accept any other help from Sara. As she leaves, Sara spots a large bruise on Angela's upper body and requests full body photographs from the nurse. Was she really a victim of date rape or something far more sinister?
The other case deals with the murder of a retired school teacher. Two punks break into her house in the hope of making off with anything they can lay their hands on, only to find it's already been completely trashed. Just as they are leaving through the back door, a police car drives up and catches them as they come out. Unbeknownst to the punks - and the police - there's still someone at the scene...
Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from an early draft of the script and details may change before the episode goes to air.
"Homebodies" will likely air in late September.
