First 'Complications' Plot Details

CSI Files

Captain
A bored teen is surveying a neighbouring building with his telescope when he spots the body of a man hanging inside a condo. Suicide or murder? The CSIs are on the case in the upcoming CSI: Miami episode, "Complications".

The eleventh episode of the season will focus on this apparent murder, along with a suspicious death that is possibly related to it, according to CSI Files sources. The man hanging from the rafter is an anathesiologist named Carlos Alvaro. A cigarette with lipstick on it and traces of silicon gel on the body lead Horatio Caine to Roxanne Price, Alvaro's lover.

Alvaro was on hand when Roxanne had liposuction at the Winters Beauty Clinic, a posh plastic surgery practice. Roxanne tells Horatio that Alvaro was stressed about Sara Foster, a patient who was getting silicon implants removed and replaced with saline ones. She died on the operating table while Carlos was present.

Sara's husband, Ben, is devastated by her death, and holds everyone at the clinic responsible for her death. He's angry enough to sue, but would he commit murder? Horatio has evidence that puts him in Alvaro's condo.

Now Horatio has two cases in his lap. What caused the death of Sara Foster during what should have been a routine operation? The CSIs decide to exhume her body to find out if they actually have two murders on their hands...
