Ferlito Joins 'The Rock' In 'Gridiron Gang'

<font color=yellow>Vanessa Ferlito</font> (Aiden Burn) has been cast in the new feature film Gridiron Gang.

The actress will join <font color=yellow>Wayne 'The Rock' Johnson</font> and Pimp My Ride's <font color=yellow>Xzibit</font> in the dramatic film that was inspired by real-life events at a juvenile detention center. The details of Ferlito's character have not yet been announced.

Gridiron Gang is based on a real-life story about a detention camp probation officer at a juvenile center that creates a football team from the dangerous detainees. The story was adapted from the 1993 Emmy Award-winning documentary by <font color=yellow>Lee Stanley</font> and <font color=yellow>Linda Stanley</font>. Gridiron Gang was written by <font color=yellow>Jeff Maguire</font> and is being directed by <font color=yellow>Phil Joanou</font>.

Although the casting of Ferlito has not been officially been announced, producers have sent out a casting notice looking for a stand-in for the CSI: New York actress. Ferlito was seen this year in the comedy Man of the House, which starred <font color=yellow>Tommy Lee Jones</font>, and will next appear in Shadowboxer alongside <font color=yellow>Cuba Gooding Jr.</font>
