I couldn't help but notice that we haven't had one of these yet. So, it may be a bit late, but I'm curious. What are your favorite episodes of CSI: Miami Season 6?

You can pick up to 3 episodes in the poll. And don't forget to tell us which ones you picked, and why!

Geni and Jess, hope you don't mind this :)

Oh sorry, I picked four instead of three. I read the post after I polled. :(

Well, I picked Dangerous Son, Inside Out, Chain Reaction, and Raising Caine. As you might notice, they're all Kyle-centric episodes. I really thought the father/son relationship was the best attribute of season 6. I enjoyed the chemistry between Caruso and Ellingson. I think the writers did a good job with the storyline.

P.S. Inside Out was my overall favorite.

For me, it's Bang Bang Your Debt. I liked Speedle's return (even if it was kind of cheesy) and the story wasn't bad, either. Plus, it was nice to see some continuity with Eric's head trauma. Oh, and the thing with Cooper was good too.

I chose Cyberlebrity, All In, and Going Ballistic.

Cyberlebrity: Pretty much for one reason, Ryan. I have to say this episode was a good one for a crazy fangirl. Seriously, I liked the storyline, they had him doing something good, and he was in it for more than 30 seconds.

All In: The DuDe (Duquesne/Delko, HipHuggers to some people) moment at the end. I was way too excited when that happened. I'm a huge Calleigh/Eric shipper and at that point I was almost bursting with wanting to yell out "KISS HER!" even though I knew it wouldn't happen. Plus, I loved the whole "Calleigh gets kidnapped" storyline, and how she talked the one guy into going to the cops. Not to mention the poker table ending, that was pretty awesome. ;)

And Going Ballistic: Just because it's pretty much all a mystery until September 29th. You don't know who shot H/if H was even really shot, what Ryan's text message was about, why Kyle had a gun, etc. The ending with Horatio lying on the ground was pretty weird, at least to me, being so used to "Super H". But it was an interesting episode and made everyone really excited for season 7.

There were a few, season 6 was an improvement from 5.

I chose 'Cyber-lebrity' I just liked the episode and the idea of instant internet celebrity and Ryan being a bodyguard.

'Ambush' and 'All In', post strike episodes were so much better in general. I liked the idea of Cal solving crimes the 'old-fashioned' way. And H back in the lab, what I've been waiting for in a long time.

'Tunnel Vision' I just liked it, it was just well written and filmed. I just liked it.

'Going Ballistic', again, what I wanted to see in a long time. H getting shot, regardless of it being staged or not.

My three were Stand Your Ground, All In and To Kill a Predator.

Stand your Ground
started off really good and I thought it was written well and really showed a side of Calleigh that you don't normally see. To see her almost cry when she called the accident in and then when she was sitting with Delko in the ambulance. Calleigh is such a strong woman, to see her so emotional made me feel for her character.

All In
yet again started off really good. All the anticipation to see how they'd rescue Calleigh had me on edge the whole episode. When I saw Eric, Ryan and Frank around the pool table I screamed! I can't wait to watch it again when I get season 6 on DVD.

The reason I like To Kill a Predator was for the ending. You never know if Horatio beat that guy down or what. I'd like to think he did. The guy was a creep!

I choose SUN BLOCK, ALL IN, and GOING BALLISTICS!

Sunblock because I love Halloween episodes and there finally was a bit of Alexx, a really underrated character and we have seen what has happened!

All in, the idea was really good, Calleigh getting kidnapped and solving a crime without technology help, Emily has done a great job with that performance! I don't like the far west shooting at the beginning but nothing is perfect!

Going ballistics is a big finale, a really good cliffhanger! David Caruso has been great in the last scene, very realistic instead of "cool". I love when the lab which catches on fire, Calleigh's face afterwards is priceless!

I loved Sun Block. This episode had one of the best "family" moments at the end. I cried when Ryan thanked Horatio and they flashed to images of everyone in the team doing their jobs. The music was pretty good too. Plus we got to see the supersticious side of Alexx. That was funny!

Bang Bang Your Debt was really good too. For the first time in over three years the original team was back together. It would have been great if Speed wasn't a ghost, but oh well. I loved Eric's reaction to seeing Speed again and talking to him. This was the first time since season 3 that we got to see Eric grieve over Speed. I cried at the end when Speedle was watching Eric and Horatio. I hope he'll come back again, but that's just me hoping the writers take a hint from all the Speedle fans. ;)

This is going to take me awhile. In order to vote I will need to go read some summaries.....can you believe not one epsiode stands out in my mind as really good? Maybe just the one where Ryan gets reinstated but I can't remember the name of it.

I chose 'Miami Confidental', 'Deep Freeze', & 'Going Ballistics'.

Miami Confidental was an overall well written episode; liked the FBI angle & the character development for Natalia.

Deep Freeze. I won't lie & say the plot was good, sadly, that had nothing to do with my choice. It was purely for the enjoyment of the Natalia scenes.

Going Ballistic. At the time I was disappointed that it had nothing to do with the team being targeted like they said it was supposed to be, but overall the excitement was there in the end, & I enjoyed the interaction. Much better than season 5's lame finale.

BangBang (for the Eric "brain" continuity) would have been next on my list.

Start as many threads as you like. :D

I chose only two, because those two stood out the most, despite season 6 being a very interesting season as a whole to me.

Bang Bang, Your Debt: Well, for the obvious reason, I'm a Speed fan and it was nice to see Rory on the show again even if the idea initally didn't make the most sense. It was some nice continuity and the case was really interesting and different. It was also pretty relevant nowadays with all of the college kids. There are a lot of 'predators' so-to-speak that get these kids started on their road to debt.

I found it kind of stupid that Cooper would steal the credit card and go galavanting around Miami to 'be Speed' because everyone thought so highly of him (don't quite understand the logic behind that :wtf:) but it was a pretext nonetheless to have Delko deal with not only his own brain injury and the seriousness of it but the fact that he never really dealt with Speed's death properly. It was a nice contrast and some interesting development for Eric.

It did give a little bit of closure--at least to me regarding the whole ordeal. Also, I liked the Horatio/Eric moment. It was simple and a good way to end the episode; it was kind of like ending a chapter.

It's pretty much all I could ever ask for with the whole Speed issue, so hopefully they won't ruin it by doing more hallucinations or 'back-from-the-deadness'. (I know, it's really me saying this.)

Miami Confidential: Great episode, wonderful development for Natalia and an overall interesting case. I actually quite liked Natalia a lot more after this episode and it made me want to learn more about her. Eva's a great actress and handled the storyline very well.

I could have chosen 'All In' and 'Ambush' because those were two very strong episodes, but I chose substance rather than action this time around. Also, I missed half of 'Going Ballistic' so I can't really comment too much on that one either.

Actually, I believe what Cooper said was that he went into Speed's locker so that he could feel like him and see what he was like. He then found the credit card and used it because it was "free money."

So, just a bit of clarification.

Actually, I believe what Cooper said was that he went into Speed's locker so that he could *feel like him and see what he was like. He then found the credit card and used it because it was "free money."

*emphasis mine

Oh I know. Which is why I said 'be Speed' :p Wasn't directly quoting him. He then went on to say how everyone 'thought so highly of the guy' and it was 'free money'. I got the impression that he wanted to kind of live a day in the life, etc. That said, I still don't understand why he would do something so idiotic but then, like I said, it was a pretext for Eric.

Wow great thread:thumbsup:

I voted for three episodes:

_ "All In". I think it was one of the best episodes ever of CSI:Miami.
As for the plot, probably, it wasn't the most realistic (such as Calleigh being punched and kicked and then they didn't take ar at the hospital) but I kinda enjoyed it.
The idea of the kidnapping was fantastic. It was the first kidnapping made in order to clean a crime scene. I've never seen a similar kidnapping, so the idea was pretty original;)
Another thing that I loved was the team spirit.....finally everyone made an effort to find or save Calleigh. It's pretty rare to see this happening recently.
Plus I really enjoyed Emily's acting in it. She was able to make the episode more realistic than it actually was (I'm pretty sure that the shooting in the middle of the jungle wasn't that realistic:rolleyes:)...and I think it's only a good sign:thumbsup:.

-"Rock And A Hard Place". Actually the plot was pretty lame...but the whole part about Alexx Woods was fantastic. I really loved it especially the ending;).
It's another episoed/moment when I saw the whole team being there to say goodbye to their "mom" and , in all honesty, I don't think there could have been a better way to do it.
Plus Khandi Alexander finally showed what kind of actress she is. She is one of the best actress I've ever seen but unfortunately she was underused on CSI:Miami in order to develop plot which aren't always good.
And I have to see it was awesome to see everyone with red and puffy eyes, although it made me cry:(

_"Going Ballistic". Surely it wasn't at the same level of the first three seasons endings but it was very good, especially after two lame endings like "One of Our Own" (sorry but I hated s4) or "Born To Kill".
The plot was pretty interesting and I enjoyed all the ballistic part of it, especially Calleigh's explanations.
There was good tension for almost everyone during the whole episode.
The lab catching fire was pierceless...one of my fav. scenes ever:lol:
David Caruso's acting when he got shot was pierceless and I love the "it's done" part with Ryan's look at his iPhone:)

I chose "Bang Bang Your Debt" for the obvious reason because Speed came back...but also that it gave us Speed fans some closure. The other story about the girl and boy who made a suicide pact because they were neck deep in debt through credit cards was interesting especially when the boyfriend survived and she didn't.

and

"Going Ballistic" It was a fantastic way to end the series, a little sad though because Alexx is no longer in the show. To end it with Horatio being shot and a crowd of suspects including Ryan it was one of the best endings Miami has ever had. I can't wait for the next season so we can find out what's happening.
